REVIEW: Fussie Cat Market Fresh Chicken & Turkey Meal Formula Grain-Free Dry Cat Food 4lb, $14.29 My male domestic tabby cat (11 years old) has shown to be particular in the past with food. When I first adopted him, he did not care for the food his cat-brother ate. It took time, but I eventually found food they both liked. While his cat-brother is no longer around, I wanted to try food that was available to me both locally and via Amazon. Based on other reviews, and the fact that I can purchase this both locally and through Amazon, I purchased Fussie Cat Chicken & Turkey Meal. I was worried at first. Cats need routine, and changing food is a big deal in their world. Thankfully, he took to it immediately. I know he likes it because he eats it and let’s me know he’s interested in being fed when there’s no food in his bowl. He takes interest in the bag. PROS: I’m comfortable feeding him this food because its first ingredient is chicken. It is crafted in the USA. It is reasonably priced. I can purchase it both locally and from Amazon, which is very convenient. Lastly, my cat is happy and seems to enjoy this food, which is important to me (and him)! CON: Chicken meal is the second ingredient and turkey meal is the fourth ingredient. I’m not a food scientist so I can’t speak to how much protein is in the ‘meal’ part. Cats are carnivores. I tried this for my one cat that has food allergies, she can only have duck. It actually made her allergies much worse. She didn't really like it from day one. So I figured I would use it up on my other 3 kitties. Well none of them liked it and they are definitely not picky. One cat was definitely not feeling well a couple of days after eating it even though it was mixed with there regular brand. I will not be buying again.

I bought this dry food because I keep hearing great things about it and I swear my cats went crazy for it! Ate everything in their plate!!! So yeah definitely try it!!! My cats prefer high end food. I think most do. Sometimes though, some brands are garbage and you waste a bunch of money on stuff that your cats won't like. This food is not that food. The second I opened the bag to put it into a sealed container I have for my cat food, my cats were losing their mind for it. I got them a bowl of it and they both just went to town on it. They absolutely love the stuff. Potato and grain free which is everything to me because I had a cat with diabetes, and you learn about how low quality car foods use flour as filler which is not something cats are actually supposed to have. They're lower is protein and higher in carbs for lower quality foods. These things absolutely contribute to feline diabetes which is fatal to cats. So I appreciate a good quality food. Would definitely purchase again.

My 2 finiky cats Will only eat this brand dry food. So I mix it with this flavor along with the "Salmon &Tuna" dry mix that comes in the green bag. Since obviously too much seafood. It's never good for cats. It was up to them. They would just eat that alone. When I mix it I try to give them a little more of this the "chicken & turkey mix". They have never been huge fans of any type of wet canned food. There's only a couple of flavors of one specific brand they like and even when I get them to eat it, it's not consistent but it is what it is. And all of our cats ever since I've been alive have been that way. I buy the 4lb bags Since I'm opening two different flavors at a time store each one separately in those Tupperware cereal containers in the original bag. I put the bag inside a storage size Ziploc bag. Fold the top down after I only open up the top part of the way. Roll it down and secure it tightly with really good bad clips to keep the food fresh that way. Then I only have to take the lid off the Tupperware, remove bag clips and then I can tilt the bag from the side to shake the 2 flavors into the bowls or If I cut it open a little water I can use a 1/2cup scoop ~ 1 per bag & alternate into bowls. Then I sort of shift/filter/ shake it u it in back into the bowls where they will graze throughout the day. I'm pretty good at on bowling the adjustments. Sometimes it's not equally distributed but usually it is. However, they getting their moods when they may want more/ less than one flavor. I think it also depends on certain times during the year. I will also then give them their snack treats flavors face on the portion flavors that are being distributed. So if the food is on the seafood heavy side that day then there snack treats will tend to be on the beach/ chicken/ turkey then vice versa.

Decided to try getting some of this Fussie Cat food, & he likes it a lot. He's definitely puking less now, so that's a big plus. Not a bad odor, so that's another plus.
