I was a little hesitant to buy the furwey play sand set because it isn’t the name brand kinetic sand, but I am on a fixed income and this was much more affordable than the name brand, but I’m so glad I did. It worked wonderfully for my granddaughter. The sand has a great texture and the colors were bright. It’s easy to mold and provides provided her hours of fun the mold and accessories were well-made and kept her entertained. This set was an excellent value for the price and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again. If you’re on the fence about trying it I highly recommend it.

Oh This is good quality kinetic sand. It’s smooth and shape-able, but still crumbles well. I have a 2ft. square sensory bin and it fits in nicely.

I mean the sand is great, its just it looks much cheaper since it looks like a generic brand not the one that i chose, anways mykid likes it doesnt feel like 3lbs as well

This doesn't stick together as well as kinetic sand, so it's not great for using with molds but it works perfect for use with construction trucks and things where you want more fluidity, like scooping. It feels a million times nicer and softer than kinetic sand though and it's much finer (less coarse). If it didn't leave a fine sand residue everywhere and stuck together I would like this stuff way better than the much more expensive kinetic sand. As it stands I still like it better but I mostly reserve it for outdoor porch use so I don't have to vacuum as much, though using it on a play mat would work too if your kids are a little older and less messy.
