This is very convenient if you have two kids, but I like it so you can have two "zones" when working. This was too much for me to put together, I had to have my kids put it together. This is a bit of a unique setup since it’s basically two desks in one. It was exactly what we were looking for for our two youngest kids since they share a room. The build was pretty easy, straightforward and didn’t take long. The carbon fiber look is really cool, something they both really like as well. The center section works great for keeping a computer tower there but for us, we use the space for books and whatnot since they don’t have a computer in their room. However, having the plugs are a nice touch. They both have either tablets or phones and it’s a great place to have them store and charge them, especially at night. Check the dimensions before purchasing to make sure this will work for you and your space. The desktop space is small(er) than most single desktops to accommodate the dual top feature. For us, our kids are younger so they don’t require a ton of space. For the older ones though, we can see where space would be an issue. Overall though, we’re very happy with the functionality of the desk and how good it looks. I hope his helps you! ... show more

We assembled this desk and found that as we had set ups with double monitors that we both did not have enough room. If both sides of the desk were longer it would probably be enough room. Could easily fit one monitor on each side if that’s what you are looking for.

First off, let me just say that this desk was a pain in the butt to assemble. There were so many pieces and bolts to fasten. I think it took me around a little over an hour. It would have been faster to do it using my power drill, but I wanted to see how long it would take just using the included tools. If you have a power drill, do yourself a favor and set it on low power and use it! A lot of the pieces are near identical with slight differences in if they have some particular holes, so make sure you double check before proceeding too deep. Once assembled, the desk is great. The middle shelves are more than enough to fit two PCs, while the top shelf can hold your decorations. The desk is quite stable and hardly flex, if at all. Each desktop can hold up to a 32" monitor, but I would suggest a 27" for a more comfortable fit. ... show more
