I was very skeptical at first about this product and have been more than pleasantly surprised. Works very well and better than I expected. This is not just a marker with ink. These markers have actual finish coming out of the tip. It glides right on but does have an initial tackiness that will go away as it dries. If you get some on your hands its not a big deal. The instructions to say to use lighter colors first and graduate to darker colors so that's what I did. Things blended best using this method. I tried going directly to what I thought was a matching color and that didn't blend as well. Do follow the directions. I started with my nightstand which is a very dark brown. It was looking really chewed up having run into it a lot with my mobility devices — and the wood is blonde underneath so it looked terrible. Also, there were huge gouges and I tried a couple crayons. Definitely apply the crayon first, and the marker over that. My nightstand looks NEW. I wish I had a whole “before” photo of that one. I have only a few closeup photos.

I moved onto my bathroom vanity which is more of a lighter color. This time I took before and after pics of 2 sections — and also a video of the process. It dries almost instantly, so if you want to make the ends blend, make sure to have a throwaway cloth handy. You'll need to follow right behind the marker. Most importantly is the fact that I am a person with chemical sensitivities; I'm an MCS patient. I expected the product to be TOXIC and have intolerable fumes. It does come with a non-toxic description, but a lot of vendors don't tell the truth about that. NOT THE CASE HERE. I detected NO ODOR AT ALL from the markers. The crayons smell like typical wax crayons... NO SYMPTOMS from using either the crayons or the markers. The product is less than $10. It’s totally worth trying this product if you are unsure. Also, it's fun to make things look like new again. I look around and wonder "what can I fix next with these?" Highly recommend! ... show more

I have lots of nicks on the edges of my bedroom furniture. With all of the color choices and ability to mix and layer, I was able to match the color. It really works well and makes the scratches and dings disappear. .

These work very well. Colors are great. Can use multiple colors of the crayon like ones to mix and blend together to make the right color as well. Markers worked well especially the black one. People often suggest using a sharpie on black furniture but this gives it a much better finish and look. No leakage. No odor from these markers either. Seems like a durable solution that has held up well to this point! ... show more

Did the job! Had scrapes and dings from over 10 years of use and using these markers has reversed the very visible damage. You need to mark and wipe away pretty quickly, so it blends and doesn’t stain. You’d be able to tell only if I pointed it out to you. I will go over some areas again in a few days, and also cover up the remaining small spots. Did not use the crayons because the scratches were not that deep. Worth a shot! ... show more

These are pretty good but the colors are too bright and warm and the felt tips tend to flood the repair with dye finish rather than ‘rubbing in’ for a blending of coloration. The product does what it says it will do but you end up sanding, re applying, sanding and applying until you get the exact shade you want. I’d probably go back to the other brand I normally use at 6x the price just to save a LOT of time in application. A product like this should be hit and run…not hit and miss. ... show more
