I was shocked at how easy this was to put together! I was extremely pleasantly surprised at how nice it looks, considering how inexpensive it was. Now, I have to say, it’s so easy to assemble because it only consists of 3 particle boards and 9 plastic tubes..and all you do is screw them together. It seems made well enough, but it won’t last forever I’m sure, if you are moving it a lot or putting heavy stuff on it. I got this to display my growing collection of Godzilla figures and so far I'm pretty happy with it The only trouble I had was putting it together at first the directions didn't explain it that well but once I realize the middle was made of just the small tubes and the long ones were for the left and right sides it we super easy to put together So if you got a brain that works you'll be fine ... show more

It literally took me thirty seconds to put this shelf together. It was the easiest assembly process I have ever encountered in my entire life. It's pretty sturdy and definitely perfect for what I wanted for. I'm already purchased a second one. Yes, it's not the most well made as in the legs are a pvc /plastic type product but it is nice! My honest truth...it's all about my cats...lol. I bought this piece because the top height makes it flush with a very narrow window sill. Having the "step" is an added feature. This piece sits nicely at the window and still looks like part of the room. I added a pretty bin to one section and some knickknacks to 2 other sections. But the cats have the "open" shelves. Two cats. The big one can sit on the step and still see out the window. She is nice enough to let the little guy hop to the top shelf. This is an inexpensive way to add some decorative pieces, give a little storage and allow to cats to lounge at the window without having to buy those window seat things. ... show more

Stand looks nice, it's a budget option but the quality isn't that awful. Problem lies in the plastic legs. Mine was shipped with poorly molded pieces. Threads snapped on one leg during installation, and one warped horrible making it oblong.
