For the price, this was amazing. The directions were great. It was fairly easy to put together. I had to get my nephew to help me finish it off because it was wobbly, so he tightened up the poles with his hands. It looks nice. Nobody would ever believe how little I paid for this.

It’s be lower scored if not for being so cheap(cost). The washers coming in black for a white unit makes it look goofy, but I didn’t want to chance it since it’s part of the instructions to add them. So far the 7lb, Xbox 360 seems secure despite the stated 5lb limit. I think that was a conservative estimate. It feels more sturdy than that. It’s incredibly easy to put together. I do wish the side shelves could be higher. Granted I ended up benefiting from that with my 360, but just aesthetically it would’ve been nice to have more options for the bottom portion. They’re so low down that there’s not a lot of options there. It’s fine for what I needed it for. And it’s hard to hold onto many complaints with how cheap it was. But the edge wrapping (?) has very visible points of overlap, and there are a lot of small dents on the corners as well. (See pic 2) And I don’t think it shows well but it has that common issue with fake particle board(?) where you can see the particle board if you look closely at the edges. And I wish the top piece was all white. The bottom is the particle board. If you sit low to the ground you can see it. But again, it was cheap so hard to complain too much. ... show more

Very easy to put together, no tools required! I have had a spinal procedure recently and I was able to put it together independently. It is sturdy, a decent height, it fits perfectly against my bedroom wall, the black color looks elegant, and the plastic legs are sturdy too! I thought the material was going to be weak but it's holding up very nicely! 😌 ... show more

I really wanted this to work for our loft. There’s isn’t much space between the windows and the electric floor heaters so I’m pretty limited to a small-ish unit like this one. Also, being in the loft, the roof is very low above the tv- I’m 5ft 5in and bump my head often if I forget to duck. Plus, I wanted something inexpensive and simple since my kids play up there. Something I wouldn’t care if got scratched up. I gave it 3 stars because it fit all those needs except the big downside: it’s pretty wobbly with our 32” tv. It says put heavier items on bottom shelf (duh) but the tv is the heaviest item and for what we are using it for, the other items just aren’t heavy enough to stabilize it on our low carpet. If the unit was deeper, it would help but It isn’t deep enough for my needs. I’m nervous the kids will prop their feet on the front (easily forgotten not to) or someone might lean on it and tip it. It would take a bunch of pressure to tip it but our carpet is not very tall at all and it’d be easy enough for young kids to do. It just isn’t as sturdy as I had hoped for my needs. I’ll be anchoring it, if not moving it away to use it for something else. Also, the side shelves aren’t as big as I hoped and won’t fit my fan on, which is something I wasn’t hoping to get off the floor with this piece. It can’t occilate without bumping the tv. It fits on the shelf if the tv wasn’t there. Building it was easy once I realized I mixed up the middle piece for the top piece. I thought the holes were too small to fit the caps (step 1) then realized I had the wrong piece and after that, I was done in under 10 minutes. The poles are plastic but seem strong enough to hold the listed weight limits. (I believe it was 40 pounds on the top shelf and 15 on all the other 5). Colors matched online pic and quality (pressed wood/no scratches) are what I expected for the price. Just please be careful if you have young kids. Keep an eye on it and / or anchor it, even on short carpets/rugs. I can’t speak for wood/hard floors. ... show more
