Trusty I bought this maybe a couple of years ago. My computer occupies the top shelf a disc player in one and jewelry box on the other and thank God for the cabinets with doors so convenient. Would have preferred a little more height to it tho

I purchased this item and found it at a discount price so chose that option and on arriving (a week later with prime) I noticed when opening almost confetti like Styrofoam shreds from ones sturdy packaging. I then stuck my hand into the box attempting to feel the product and as I attempted to retrieve it I noticed that it(the top part) was broken almost in half vertically. Despite this I preserved and cleaned the wasted styrofoam and opened the rest outside and brought them back in once they no longer had styrofoam on it .To compensate for the nearly split board i began filling the break with superglue and “flex-seal” and after holding it together and waiting for about an hour it was sturdy enough to put together. After about an hour I got to the step where you had to connect the sides to the top. And this is where things took a left even after using super glue in the wooden dowel port the side didn’t connect as the dowels have been inserted deeper with its initial joining. I then attempted to somehow rescue it by sitting it upright while in the process the flimsy boards became detached ripping at their screw holes. After about 2 minutes of shock ,a realization came over me that I could no longer fix it. Enraged I went to town on the cheap boards with my hammer for a good minute:Putting holes into each board. After that i gathered the wood and wood chips and disposed them(which took maybe 15 minutes). Key take aways: 1. Dont buy this for use of an entertainment stand 2. Buy this for use of breaking(10/10 karate boards ,guaranteed to make an average joe feel like an action hero) Conclusion: If this “entertainment stand” didn’t provide the minute of entertainment it did when i destroyed it, I would have given it 0 stars but 1/5 for now ... show more

Updated 1 year review: When moving the TV stand side to side it did wobble because of that broken middle piece I mentioned before BUT it held perfectly and beautifully for the entire year I used it. The color is just a thin piece of paper colored brown (or whatever color you chose), and the entire outer cornering of the top and bottom table is veneer (in case anyone is able to/wants to replace it in the future) and of course it is made out of particle board. It wasn't until I failed at a DIY project on it (I was trying to add a storage compartment to the back of it) did I have to replace pretty much the entire TV stand. Please read reviews carefully. Many seem to slander the product because of terrible handling from their shipping provider and assume that because it broke while in shipping that the brand itself is bad, or that it is overall a bad product. If it breaks in shipping then that is most likely the result of that shipping provider employee mishandling your product and not the brand itself being of 'low quality' or 'overall bad'. Many products in my room are from this brand including a computer desk that is currently holding over 40 pounds on it and the max was 20 and it's doing beautifully. [Also NO I was NOT paid to leave a good review on this brand I just personally love how cheap it is and how it held up for so long (and even with all the abuse I put it through during my DIY project it still stood up, I CHOSE to tear it down because of cosmetic reasons)} First purchase review: Pros: Build- Easy to do within 10-20 minutes maximum as long as you are prepared to actually hammer nails into the back of it. Strength- The top holds about 20 lbs, the two bottom slots hold about 10 (separately), and it didn't say what the two fabric carriers are able to hold so I can only assume about 5 lbs. (separately) as well. Cons: Build- The middle piece for the top two slots did break when I was trying to put on the top piece of the TV stand, I had to super glue the broken piece together in order for it to hold it's place. So do use caution and build this stand with two people or have a second person on standby. Overall: Does it's job, wasn't too hard to build but would have been easier with 2 people, and it's a damn good TV stand. It looks amazing in my room and I'm very happy with it. ... show more
