Furinno Econ multipurpose home office computer writing desk W/bin is designed to fit in your space, your style and fit on your budget. The medium density composite wood is manufactured in Malaysia and comply with the Green rules of production. There is no foul smell, durable and the material is the most stable amongst the medium density composite woods. The PVC tube is made from recycled plastic and is tested for its durability. The non-woven bin simply add in a sweet accent to the whole unit. A simple attitude towards lifestyle is reflected directly on the design of Furinno furniture, creating a trend of simply nature. All the products are produced and assembled 100-percent in Malaysia with 95% - 100% recycled materials. Care instructions: wipe clean with clean damped cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals. Overall it is what I needed, however, just note that it is NOT very sturdy. Be careful moving it after you've put it together, as I managed to rip one of the screws out, and strip one of the pre-drilled holes just trying to move it a little. Obviously it is super cheap though, so you get what you pay for. Still, it serves it's purpose, and it was pretty easy to put together. It took maybe an hour to get together. Just don't put anything too heavy on it. I opted to mount my computer monitors to the wall as I don't think the main top would've been able to hold the weight of the mount and the monitors. It's fairly comfortable, but it could be a bit taller. Material seems okay but obviously cheap. It doesn't fold. The size is smaller, but it is exactly what I needed as the space I had to give was small. Enjoy the pics of my kittens lounging in the computer chair (not included) ... show more

Alrighty, this desk is exactly what you get for its price. It's fairly flimsy but not so much in a buckle in on itself kind of flimsy. More so that it sways and wobbles easily. This however is due to the fact its not solid wood and is whatever processed partical wood something something. Overall tho? Its not too bad. It's a moderately solid solution to not having enough money to a thicker/sturdier desk and took about... 20mins to put together? I think? Meh. Important things to note: -the black paint does rub off so have a mouse pad on the sliding shelf or desk surface. -do your best to make all screws lay flat into the planks, especially the sliding shelf for the keyboard...mine's a little janky *ahem* -the elevated platform is a smidge precarious so I'd suggest wide heavy things on there like thick books to help stabalize that section of the desk. -cloth drawer is an odd size so actually sliding it in and out of the cubby is awkward with a few notebooks in there (so I'd suggest lighter office supplies things go in there, or like a small blanket/chair pillow?) -the "shelf" under the platform and above the cloth drawer can technically hold a desktop tower there... just be sure to check the desk measurements, your tower's measurements and weight and know that the tower WILL poke out a good bit if its on the larger end. Not anything terrible tho -i dont suggest leaving hot food on the desk nor letting cold drinks "sweat" on the desk surfaces. It's likely to cause various damages to the "wood" -in my build theres a few pieces that just...don't really work??? So I've superglued a few things into place to "force" it to stay together. This was mainly on the elevated platform section -i have a 22in & 27in hp monitors and 15.6in digital tablet for my workspace. In order to make space for all three i bout a 1x3 cube unit and that worked out well since it puts the smaller monitor about the same height as the 27in -I've had this set up for a while now and it works for me! Also thats a ~6ft cat tower next to the desk (so cats arent walking across all my stuff and they dont break my stuff or themselves ;^^ ) Overall? I think it's solid enough~! ... show more

This was really easy to put together, even when completely stoned! Only screwed up the keyboard but whatever its all good. Its decent for the price and is great if you don't have a lot of space. I have an all in one desktop on mine and getting ready to add a 24 in tv as a second monitor. Seems to be pretty sturdy. Only gripe I have is they put a sticker of an arrow on the keyboard tray to show direction and when taking off the sticker it took of the paper finish that's over the particle board and now there is a big white spot. Ugh. I got the grey oak color and its really nice. A real nice change from the standard old black or brown look! Its an inexpensive little set up. You get what you pay for, its particle board. I like it and i like the look of it. It may have taken a much shorter amount of time to put together had i not decided to smoke bowls throughout the process, it might have taken a half hour to put together. But as it was, it took me 4 hours instead of 30mins, but in defense of myself, i kept losing the parts, its time consuming trying to figure out where those little itty bitty screws and such are and then of course when you pick up the boards to assemble, the cam bolts like to fall out and then you're trying to figure where those puppies landed. See? just put the darn thing together straight and it'll all be good , unless of course you dont mind it taken forever and a day to get such a small thing together! Cheers! ... show more

This desk does exactly what I needed for a small home office setup. Assembly was pretty straightforward, took about an hour with the included instructions, and everything lined up fine. The slide out keyboard tray is a nice touch for keeping the desktop clear, and the compact width fit perfectly in my tight space. That said, it's not the sturdiest desk out there, so as others have mentioned, be gentle when moving it after assembly since the screws and pre-drilled holes can strip pretty easily. I'd also avoid putting anything too heavy on top. For the price though, it gets the job done and looks clean and simple in the room.
