I assembled by myself and it didn’t take too long at all, actually one of the easiest things I’ve ever built from Amazon (aside from screwing in the fireplace that was the only annoying part but still not bad) it looks super cute in my apartment and I like that the side shelves have adjustable heights so I can play around with what’s displayed on them. This unit is good for the price, but not great. The measurements for the insides of the shelves are not really accurate and smaller than listed. We had chose this unit to fit an audio receiver unit in the shelf, however after you put the tv stand together, due to the lip that is along the outsides, it was not possible to slide the receiver in. This was a bummer for us since we made sure to measure everything to fit, but we did not know there was a lip that made the entrance to the shelf smaller. We did not want to be bothered with returning the unit after putting it together. The fireplace heater is nice, it makes some small noise, and is not adjustable at all. There is just one setting for the heat, on or off, and one setting for the fireplace light, on or off. Overall it feels cheap, but, it was cheap! ... show more

I made sure to read all the reviews beforehand and decided to go for it. It shipped very quickly which I was happy with. Box is heavy which isn't a surprise. I had a hard time by myself getting it up into my apartment so I would recommend two people for moving it. It took me about an hour to put together. The instructions were clear and none of the steps were difficult to follow. One thing that could be a con potentially is it doesn't come with any spare parts so if you lose a screw or other piece you'd be out of luck unless you have other spare bits in your home. The heat is pretty decent works for my apartment. I think it'd be fine in a house too it just wouldn't heat the whole house only the room it's in. Pretty good storage and sturdy. Overall happy with the purchase. Again one person can do it all but having two might be more helpful. ... show more

This is a great TV stand, very easy to set up and build, not too many pieces and doesn’t require too many tools. The fire place gets very warm, there is no remote. This is great for a small space, small apartment or studio. Not the largest size, so check measurements. I love this tv stand, the fire place does not have a heat remote or ability to control heat, it only turns heat on and off. You can have the flames showing and glowing without heat, there is a separate switch for just the fire light. Can turn both switches on to have flame showing and heat running, it’s a great space heater. The shelves are adjustable, so you can place them where you would like them, there are multiple notches to change shelf to. Would recommend to anyone needing this for a smaller space! ... show more

Building isn’t too hard, 90% of it is easy, hardest part is screwing in the fireplace to the stand. Tight space and makes it difficult to screw in. Otherwise looks and works great so far.
