Nice and study little bookshelf. My grandson really appreciated it. It has a nice appreciated and no sagging shelves. The directions were clear, and I was able to put it together myself in about 20 mi minutes. You only need a small hammer and a Phillips head screwdriver.

I’m giving this a four stars for the price and ease of assembly. They are not super sturdy but they do what I needed them for and that was as a book shelf. Be aware of the height, as I had expected them to be taller.

This is made of thin particleboard. It will not hold more than a few books on each shelf without immediately sagging. That is ironic for a "bookshelf"! A few extra dollars could be put into the design to make it more sturdy but then it would cost a few more dollars. So, bottom line is I need a little utility shelf that fits in a tight space and this is the closest (and least costly) thing I could find. I would prefer to return it if I could find something else this size but it just isn't worth the inconvenience for the low price. I could add some wood strips to the front and back edges of the shelves to "stiffen" them to carry a more reasonable load, but maybe later. If you are thinking of buying, think "cheap, lightweight, functional use for a limited time" and you won't be disappointed. Thus, 3 stars overall. ... show more

This bookshelf is absolute garbage. Don’t waste your money, go to Walmart. The screws are weak and the shelves are only finished on one side. There is no support between the side and the shelf when mounting, you’re just sticking a screw through a hole. Terrible design when it comes to stability.
