First of all - let’s get this out of the way - this is a $40 product. For that, I give it very high marks. It is exactly as advertised. It is particleboard. It is cheap. But, it does exactly what I wanted to do – not cost much, not take up much space, and fit very nicely into the corner of a bedroom in our apartment - see the pictures below. More than enough space to put my laptop on, add some other items to the shelves on the side, and enough leg room below so I’m not cramped at all. In my opinion it’s a real value for the money. Heck, after I put it together and set it up even my wife wasn’t mad at me anymore (see last pic)! Also, despite what some of the other reviews say, I thought it was very easy to put together. Each piece is labeled exactly - even the bags that have the screws and things like that in them are labeled. It took me about a half hour to put it together. Follow the instructions (yes, they are pictures only) and you’re golden. If you’re looking for a small corner workspace this little desk is perfect! ... show more

    • Thin/Light wood, perfectly fine for the price. Don't expect sturdy materials for such a low price.
Color: Espresso/Black
The desk looks exactly as pictured, went together very easy. My only complaint is probably an oversight on my end however the quality of the wood is not great. Its much thinner/lighter than I expected and just feels cheap and wobbly. As I said I most likely expected too much, it is priced well and you get what you pay for. ... show more

    • Cheap good low value product
Color: Espresso/Black
I’ll be straightforward it’s a convenient, cheap, and reasonable for the price. I did get it on a sale for 35 I believe but I wouldn’t pay anymore than 50 for this product. The woods not high quality, and the assembly is decent some of the holes don’t completely line up making the setup more timing drilling into the wood but thankfully the wood thin. It’s easy to make marks or damage the wood so be careful, but the pricing is what saves the product from being a total waste, it will hold up your laptop, monitor gaming setup, with ease and books/DVD covers, but weight stress is important. Try not to run into it accidentally it may tip over ... show more

    • Don’t buy this poor quality desk.
Color: French Oak Grey/Black
I returned this desk because it felt like it was made out of paper. It was so unsteady and shaky I thought it was going to fall apart on my daughter. The saying you get what you pay for is very true it’s very inexpensive, but you are getting a very poor quality item. When I returned it they charged me $12 for the shipping label and about another $15 for restocking fee (I’m assuming) because I only got back about 1/2 of what I originally spent. I know that with kids going back to school remotely parents are desperately looking for desk, but DON’T buy this product. Very poor quality. Your better off spending a little more in a quality product. ... show more

    • Exactly what it looks like
Color: Espresso/Black
Had labeled parts and picture instructions. Needed only a screwdriver and took me about an hour taking my time with it. Some chips in the surface and getting the label stickers off can get tricky, accidentally ripped the paint of one board. Cheap price for a fully functional, non wobbly (on carpet) ,good looking product. Fits nicely in the corner of my room and holds my computer, books, plants, etc. Couldnt be happier with it. Any dinks or scratches it came with are barely noticeable ... show more

    • Cheap desk, poor quality
Color: French Oak Grey/Black
Pros: Small desk that fits well in a corner of a bedroom or living space. Appearance is nice. Shelving area has good amount of space, and can hold a sizable PC tower on the bottom shelf. Good amount of legroom underneath. Cheap. Cons: Particleboard construction without reinforced screws means that screws easily splinter and detach from the wood. Construction is not well reinforced. Incredibly wobbly, even when just typing. Sharp board edges scratch my wrists when typing. Not a lot of space on the desktop- maybe enough to fit a laptop, but with a monitor and keyboard, it becomes very cramped. I'm planning to replace this with a nicer desk. If you make sure to line up screws perfectly during assembly, maybe anchor it to a wall, and only use a laptop on it, it may work for you. ... show more

    • Good size if you're looking for small but functional. Sturdy bookshelf.
Color: French Oak Grey/Black
It's small without being too small. I had purchased another one, same brand that was small and this was the replacement. It made up where the other one lacked for me. I do wish there was an option for mounting the bookcase on the left rather than the right though, as I am left handed and would love to put my desk a specific way it won't work, but it's a good desk and it will work perfectly for my needs. ... show more
