I love this blanket it's great! Better yet, my dog loves this blanket. He's had it since he was 7 weeks. He is now 6 months. It seems to be waterproof. I had to travel with my pup and it seems we didnt get to stop quick enough for him to potty so he used section of his blanket. This happened a couple of times and nothing soaked through to the seat or my lap (when I wasn't driving, don't judge). I just ordered a new one. Not because the first one didnt last, it's still good as new, well it did accidentally get put in the dryer on a normal heat setting which matted the soft faux fur. So a word of advice DO NOT put it in the dryer at all. After using the washing machine on gentle, let it hang to air dry and it comes out beautiful! I did comb the matts out and it is very soft but not the same faux fur texture. I got the blanket in dark Grey. Now I don't have to bring it in and out of the car. I can keep one in his dog seat in the car and one on the couch or wherever he drags it to so he can snuggle. It's soft, warm, not too heavy, a great value for the price, you can't beat it! My puppy prefers this blanket over any of his other blankets! I bought the size large blanket at 6 months he weighs 64 lbs and there's still plenty of room. I'd love one in Dark Blue ... show more

I have a 9 week old puppy who is doing his best not to urinate where he shouldn't, but accidents happen. He has nailed this throw countless times because it happens to be in a spot he frequents. This has saved me from having to shampoo my carpet daily. It washes very well, dries well, is fluffy and comfortable. My 8 year old Lab loves it also. The size is manageable for bundling up and tossing in the washer. No need for a trip to the laundromat. Mine has not shed at all and seems to be a quality product. I have washed this daily since buying it. I keep thinking today's the day we'll make it without an accident. I think the size to price ratio makes this throw a good value and the fact that it is truly puppy urine proof is worth it to me. Plus my puppy loves to bury his antlers under it. Update.. I have since bought a second throw..these are super and all the animals (dogs and cats) love them. The fleece/fur is cozy and these have worked so well for me with the puppy. I have the light grey and the taupe. I prefer the light grey color. Neither has faded or deteriorated in any way and I was washing the grey one daily, sometimes twice a day. SUPER thin but it was cheap and did the job of making a nice nesting area in our bookcase cubby hole. Wrapped it around a towel and though thin, it is fuzzy and soft. I would never use for a blanket because it's not substantial. Calleigh our calico likes it though, so that's what matters :)

Pros: very soft, pets love it immediately, washable, good size overall, doesn’t fall apart Cons: absolutely not waterproof or remotely water resistant. Kitten had a very very small accident on the blanket while sleeping (my guess is not much more than an ounce of liquid) - it seeped thru the blanket and onto the bedding below (top sheet & fitted sheet) so Clearly nothing was waterproof/resistant & it wasn’t deterred w some barrier or absorbed by the blanket. I could understand if it was a large animal or large accident/spill but this is a very small animal and a pretty simple use case/scenario that a “waterproof” blanket should have been tested to accommodate. I bought the blanket a few weeks back & didnt see this happen but then again, she hasn’t had an accident on it until now. Not sure of what to Think. Overall: if you’re in it for style & ability to wash, get it. If you want something truly waterproof/water resistant or absorbent, there are many other brands on Amazon that work better. ... show more

The price was so good that I was nervous. I read some reviews about it being small and not waterproof. We do also have a paw.com throw but that was $200 so I really didn’t expect it to be the exact same but was hoping for comparable. So here it is. I put it down in the kitchen to test waterproofing, dogs loved it right away. Pics of them laying on it immediately after putting down. It is on the thinner side, but I bought it to bring to airbnbs and put on the couches so thinness was a bonus in this case. It’s a good size, covers most of my extra long sofa so it will work perfect for our travels and regular home use. I tested the waterproofness by placing a towel under it and pouring water on it. The water stayed on top of the blanket. Completely dry underneath. Definitely waterproof. Overall I’m happy and would buy a couple more of these. My dogs love blankets and tend to chew them as well so I would rather buy something easily replaceable like this than a super expensive, thick, throw blanket. And the doggies love faux fur. Very happy with it. Only downside so far, it does shed a lot so I will wash it and see if that makes it better. That could be a deal breaker if it doesn’t since I bought these to keep hair etc off couches. Hopefully I can update this later. ... show more
