They look adorable in the picture but, getting them on and off is a tedious and time consuming process and the fit is awful. They're very uncomfortable.

I typically wear a 10-11 in women's and ordered a 10 as many reviews said they ran big, this is true. However, the black is more like a light blue-ish gray and do not fit the needs of my costume because of this. They agreed to refund me 15% so I wouldn't have to pay to ship back to the US third party who would then have to send to China. Order well in advance if you still want these boots, it took over 3 weeks to arrive due to international shipping. ... show more

I am not sure if I like these boots or not. They are cute and comfortable, but look almost nothing like what is pictured, being much taller and narrower. They are supposed to be "mid calf" and although they possibly would be on anyone over 6 ft tall, they are not mid calf on 5'2" me, or even on my much taller friend. The shade of red is not the dark, rich red like in the picture. They are a bright red and are only saved from being a tacky looking bright red by the darker accents, which - going by the way they smelled on arrival - are spray painted on. They are narrow and the toes are rather long, with at least an inch and a half of shoe past my toe, so they make my feet look bigger than they are. I normally wear a 7.5 but with this style I would probably have fit better in a 7. They don't look bad so I might decide to keep them, once I get over the disappointment of them not being like the picture. Also, they did not even ship until 5 weeks after I placed the order, as if the boots aren't made until they're ordered, which I have a hard time believing in this era of mass production. I get a delay between order and shipment, but FIVE weeks???? That's just poor customer service. So be warned that once you order, they will take forever to get to you. ... show more

These boots run true to size. I got one size bigger since I have wide brick like feet. I probably could have got my true size. But these will work with the laces. Which are super long too!
