If you need lots of storage in a nightstand, this is the one. You could even use it as a side table in the living room if you need to. It has 4 reinforced fabric drawers mounted on a black metal frame. The top shelf has attractive curved side rails, and a wooden back rail to keep your stuff from sliding off. You can plug in a lamp or charge your devices thanks to the top mounted charging station with 2 USBs & 2 power outlets. This is such a handy feature. I'm really torn on what to say with this nightstand. First off, I'll admit that I misread the description and did not notice that it had fabric drawers, so that was hugely disappointing when I saw it. For what it is, it's just cheap construction for the TWO pieces of "wood" that are particle board. The screws that go into the wood don't tighten well as half of mine had holes that were slightly too big and so when they went in fully they just kept spinning and did not seat securely, and no, I did not strip them, though it would be easy to do so. I imagine the screws will stay in satisfactorily since the nightstand won't be moved around. That said, the item is EXACTLY as described, so I can't fault that, but it's straight-up cheaply made so 2 stars for that. Even though I think this thing is a piece of junk, it's better than the piece of junk I was using so I'll continue to use it. There are two small screws that hold the electrical socket into the wood, and there are no pilot holes for it, so you really have to push forward on the screws while you turn them (and keep it centered) ; that might be hard for some to do and it would be easy to mess up those holes and have an electrical socket that isn't fully seated. If you think you might have problems with that, just drill a tiny pilot hole and you'll be okay. This would be great furniture for a dorm room, where you're expected to have junk furniture and nobody even cares, but I'd imagine that most adults would much rather pass on having this nightstand in their home. It does have a nice height to it, so that's good if you have a tall bed, and it is functional with sliding drawers that can slide all the way out. Bottom line, I would only recommend this nightstand for your child who is at college and they need to be taught a lesson in contentment in that they can't have everything they want. It's also work well for a child's room since some kids have a tendency to break regular wood drawers. ... show more

    • I’m struggling to love the new fabric trend
I really like the look of a lot of these new fabric drawer pieces but when it comes down to it they just aren’t sturdy. I like that there is a built in charging station but the drawers will not hold up for very long if you put much in them.

This is a cute little side table Our daughter' s room is tiny and needs tiny furnishings. I was surprised that the fronts of the drawers are a wood-looking fabric, The top is wood though. It is lightweight and fairly simple to get together. It has a grounded 3-prong cord to plug into the wall, it can power 2 power cords, and also 2 USB jacks (not USB-C).
