It appears the screw in air valve adapter does not allow one to check the air pressure. My portable pump has a digital pressure gauge and it always remains at zero…same with tire pressure gauge. So how is the pressure supposed to be checked? Granddaughter tried it out today and it seems like a good quality purchase but I have yet to try and deflate it if that goes well I’ll give it 4 starts. Knocking off 1 star for the inability to check air pressure.

I bought my first Funwater board in 2020 and it’s still working with the normal tear and wear. I’m now buying a second one since a dog had come to our family and he enjoys the SUP but leaves his claw marks behind - so he’ll be getting the old one!

I was really frustrated at first because my package came with only a paddle board, and paddles. After discussion with the company, they updated the description on Amazon and made it right! I am thrilled! The paddle board is sturdy and excellent. We think the pump is amazing as we tried a different one which took way longer to inflate and was so much harder. We would totally recommend this paddle board and accessories!

The listing on this item is a bit confusing and doesn't entirely match the product; if the discrepancy went the other direction, I'd ding it a star but in this case, I think it's a better product than it's portrayed as being. It says it's a child paddleboard; the actual warning label on the product indicates a 150kg weight capacity, and that it can handle 2 children or 1 adult. At 150kg, it'll handle most adults. If you're over 150kg (330lb) you'll need a bigger paddleboard than this one. The paddleboard itself is on the short side from what I've seen. That could be good, could be bad, I'm going with "that's how this one is". It's about 8' long, 30" wide, 4" thick when inflated. The included paddle is also on the short side, which is good for children or smaller adults, but is pretty small and light-duty for a fullsize adult. Not inherently bad, "just how it is". The paddleboard is lighter than the other paddleboard I have to compare it to (which was no surprise since it's nearly 3 feet shorter) but appears to be made similarly. It does come with a fin (listing says "fins" but there is only one fin slot on the board and one fin included that fits it nicely), an inflation adapter that will let you use a car tire style pump to inflate it, and a couple either grippy sticky pads or patches (I'm not sure what they're supposed to be, they're in the picture but the description doesn't mention them), and some mystery black plastic wrench looking thing that I have yet to find a use for. It does not come with a pump, a carrying bag, or a leash. All are important IMO; it does come with a cinch strap to bundle it up, but that's no sub for a decent carry bag. A pump of some sort is critical; a leash may not be required, but particularly if you're letting kids out on it, a leash is a pretty good thing to keep the kid with the board, along with some flavor of PFD, but that's its own standalone item. The board itself is roomy, has a nice elastic cord bit to strap your lunch bag or fishing gear or something down to, and is covered generously with a grippy-when-wet foam material that is kind on bare feet. Overall, it's "pretty good" but you'll want to add to it a pump and a leash at a minimum, and probably want a bag to fit it, both for storage when not in use, and for carrying around.
