After receiving this item, I unwrapped it and started inflating it. I found that the PSI gauge in the top of the pump did not work. I was able to pump up the SUP but was not able to tell the pressure. When I had enough air in the SUP to get it to lay flat I could see something on the top front of the board. The look and feel of it seemed like someone had tried to use super glue or some other patching method on the board. I contacted the seller about the 2 issues and they have offered to send me a new gauge for the pump. It seems like the other one is glued into the pump so I am not sure how that will work out but I will see when it gets here. They have said nothing about the substance found on the board. Even after I sent them pictures showing what it looks like. I I will come back and update this if I get a response about it. Update: I have not seen a replacement gauge for the pump and they did reply abut the substance on the front of the board saying that the board is made with some glues and that might just be some residue from the making of the board.

I had looked up the company which was in Florida but the board clearly says made in China on the box. The hand pump works on the downstroke only (would be better if it worked on both) but the board is sturdy when inflated properly. We did buy separate gauge to check pressure as the one on pump was questionable. Otherwise everything as described. The kayak seats help with posture while sitting. If the straps were positioned higher toward the back as opposed to the seat think it would stiffen it. They were easy to paddle given the tappered front and seemed to glide on water well. We were both able to stand up first time out. Very stable board. For the most part for the price these are great boards. We had lots of fun our first time out.

Super fun, me and my gf have gone on about 4 or 5 different excursions on the water now and its been a blast every time. The boards are very sturdy, i’m 5’10 and weigh 260 so trust me. It comes with everything you need and its all high quality and gets the job done. My only complaint it the attachable seat. I wish it was a bit more sturdy cause it kind of collapses when you sit back, otherwise its worthy!

These (I bought 2) were good value for the money. They are a little difficult to inflate to as rigid as they need to be. I use my air bed pump that attaches to my cigarette lighter, one that we have used for camping in the past. It gets the boards Inflated fairly well, then I attached the hand pump and really force some air into it to get it all the way inflated. I might invest in an actual electric SUP pump. We have had them out multiple times this summer and they have worked well, especially on calm waters. If I buy another inflatable, it will be a little bit larger so hopefully more stable. I was used to an 11‘33“ rigid board which was a piece of cake. This inflatable smaller board takes a little more balance. However, they are great to sit or kneel and paddle on as well, and they go pretty fast- faster than the rigid board I was used to. The kayak seat is also an added bonus. They are easy to throw in a car and take on trips because of the portability. I’m definitely happy with the purchase!

Great board itself gets 5 stars with some of the equipment only gets 3 stars. But after purchasing this, for my wife’s birthday, and the first time using it, the psi gauge doesn’t work and also the back pack strap on the bag (only single stitched!!) ripped 3/4 of the way across the top on the strap walking less than 50’ on flat ground. So we just carried it in our arms to get to the water from our car the other 60-80’ and back after we were done testing it.

Updated review: after the seller saw my critical review. they contacted me and corrected the problem to my satisfaction, very quickly too. So my 4-star score is based on getting a complete product in a reasonable timeframe. however i'm leaving the comment I made in my old review incase this happens to another buyer. original review: My order arrived without the safety leash, carry bag and phone case. Also the pressure gauge was smashed. Item was new in box. I contacted the 'funwater' company and they said they will not replace the missing items. beware this product as it might come incomplete and there is little change getting the items replaced.
