I had seen several similar golf products over the years and never thought that much of them. I recently tried a friends warm up stick and was impressed enough to order my own. After using it throughout the week just as a tool to help my swing and flexibility, my swing felt smoother and more fluid. Prior to my next round, I warmed up with the stick. My 3-wood off the tee felt as light as a feather. My swing speed improved and I gained about 15 yards. For old baseball players, consider this a weighted donut on your bat before an at bat. I am usually very skeptical of supposed golf aids advertised to improve your game, i.e., miracle clubs, balls and etc. Before purchasing it, I read a lot of information and reviews on the Orange Whip Compared with FUNJUMP, FUNJUMP was ultimately chosen. This model is designed to emulate the swing of a driver; there are two more available for fairway irons and wedges. To use it, take a normal golf stance and grip, and then swing continuously forward and back for some time period. I've used it for about two months, for a minute or two every day in my yard. On my usual golf course I now, other than the driver, use at least one less club than I did before the FUNJUMP Whip. I am a senior, high handicap golfer, usually trying to break 100. Whereas prior to the FUNJPMP Whip, for me a long par 4 would be driver, 3 wood with still 30-40 yards left to the green. I now use driver, 5 wood or 5 hybrid for the same distance and wind up near the green if not on it. I credit the FUNJUMP Whip for a significant improvement in my club distances, though it could be an improvement in my swing mechanics that the Whip is not responsible for. I have worked hard on a correct grip and eliminating tension in my swing. I give credit to the FUNJUMP Whip thinking that the swing trainer has helped me with balance and a better rhythm when swinging the driver. Absolutely love this. highly recommend it.

This swing trainer would be the greatest value for the money (with a black color option) if it only had a standard golf grip. The built in “grip trainer” is very uncomfortable when swinging because the head is weighted, so it pulls along the fingers more and causes blisters faster than usual. That being said, it did feel really good to swing and the weight was nicely balanced. If you can look past the grip, it does work as intended and creates a comfortable lag in your swing. The head itself is larger than an Orange Whip head, so if it’s a tight squeeze your the bag already, that’s something to consider. Make it a standard grip and let me add a grip trainer if I do choose. I ended up returning and just went with an Orange Whip because it has the most comfortable grip and probably the best quality of components.

This tool will help train your body about swing plane, pausing at the top of the take away and lag on the way down, which helps you to "strike down" on the ball, all of which a PGA instructor would eventually teach you about, but why pay to hear about something, when this thing help teach your body about? It really helps you to begin to feel the bowing of the shafts of your club(s), this sensitivity will only add to your game. Because it is heavier than your driver it will also strengthen your swinging muscles and no doubt add distance to your drives along with helping with greater flexibility which will carry over to your whole game. Also great for warm up before practice or play. If you're new, take a lesson and focus exclusively, and I mean exclusively on grip, posture and the initial part of the take away, once you've got this down, use this to get a feel for the rest and start hitting balls at the range. Then go to youtube to learn about hitting the various clubs regarding ball position, also to learn how to fade, draw etc and how to turn correctly, coiling, loading and releasing. There may be some things that training aids cannot teach you, but in my experience they can help save allot of time on lessons, frustration at the range, and get you making better shots on the course. I also like that I am not throwing allot of money at a guy to teach me something, at least this way I have a physical product that I own to show for the money invested. Like I said "YOUTUBE" baby!

I am an old beginner golfer, it’s not easy. My swing speed is slow. My driver was only going about 150 yards on a good day. I got this trainer and swung it every day for a month ( and still do). My buddies who I am learning with could not believe my progress. Now I am hitting over 200 yards, it’s like I am on steroids or something. I owe it all to this trainer. Will it add 50 yards to an experienced golfer, probably not. But if you are beginner your swing speed, ball speed will definitely increase.

I’m a beginner and I find this swing trainer to be very useful. I use it to warmup before rounds or before sessions on the range. It’s heavier than a normal club, so expect to break a sweat after a few swings. The grip is just ok. I purchased during prime deals day and definitely got my money worth!
