Great colors, great quality, well made but funny proportions. The strawberry is the biggest fruit while the watermelon is by far smaller. But you could see it in the picture so no complains.

I bought this for my 3 year old nephew's birthday. He absolutely loves this whole set and is so excited to "cook" for anyone that he can. The quality of the pieces is very sturdy and nice.

The packaging on these was great but easy to open. My little one enjoyed guessing each item & then opening the paper wrapping. The set is durable with quality wood, paint & magnet. Can’t wait to add it to our new play kitchen!

My 2.5-year-old son had a plastic fruit cutting set that ended up breaking and had very sharp edges. I wanted to get him something more durable. This set is great! I love that it comes with a crate to keep everything in. He loves to play with his fruits every day and practice cutting them and putting them back together. My only complaint would be that I think magnets would work better than velcro for keeping the fruit together, as some of them, especially the banana, sort of dangle off each other and don't stick tightly.

The quality of this set for the price is surprisingly great. It matches all of our other wooden Mellisa & Doug brand play food perfectly. I love that they didn’t skimp on making the inside of the pieces look like the real inside of the fruit. My only complaint is that the knives are a little small, but not a big enough issue to impact my overall feelings about the set. Entertainment for hours. Highly recommend!
