This crock pot with lid works best for our home made macaroni and cheese or bean casserole. The pattern and grooves have a consistent color and glaze throughout the dish. The brightness and glossy finish of the dish it’sa deep red similar to that of a new stop sign. Only the bottom of the pot ring and the lid under side ring are the only spots that are white ceramic. The handles are just the correct size holding with bare hands or using oven mitts for carrying when hot. I have found that the little silicone clamshell type mitts works best for this casserole pot. The box is packaged in a brown cardboard box with black lettering starting this is a 2 quart pot with lid. Plenty of protective packaging inside to keep the pot from breaking from warehouse to my house. ... show more
