Nice, heavy base keeps this from toppling over. Be aware, this is not a stool per se, this has a rounded base and is meant to tilt so you can have a slightly standing position and move your point of contact around. My wife and I both have one. It helps me maintain a mostly standing position while working at a standing desk keeping my pelvis and lower back in an almost standing position, but tasks stress off my knees at the same time. You do need to move around a bit though. Highly recommend.

I bought this stool because of the standing desk I use at work. Ever since it came through the doors, all my coworkers sit in the chair when we are chatting!. They love it, and love that it never falls no matter what angle you are leaning in. I understand other reviewers may have hiccups but maintain your product and youll be fine. Pros. Very sturdy stool. I kept at lowest height for someone under 6’. My feet rested fine on the floor. Ideal for someone wanting to switch between stand and half sit. Also very space efficient if your workspace is small. Easily stow under a desk to maximize walking space. Cons. Min height is bit too high. Bc of that, I cannot sit for long without moving around every 20-30 minutes. I have to position the stool further back and tilt it forward to I sit like a tripod with my 2 feet forward. It’s not ideal but there’s nothing else sturdy on the market today.

This expensive stool's esthetic is nice, and the mechanism works for raising and lowering the seat. I wouldn't call it comfy, but it's a very specific kind of stool for people who work at standing desks, and want to keep their core engaged when seated, or taking the pressure off their feet occasionally. For my use-case, in an audio recording space where I stand mostly, it serves it's purpose. But almost immediately after delivery the cushioning and fabric started to separate from the stool. Amazon is always helpful with returns and refunds, but following the 30 day return window, I reached out to the company, Fully, to exercise the 3 yr warranty, and hopefully get it repaired or replaced. I discovered they were out of business, the stool no longer manufactured, and a new company, MillerKnoll is handling Fully warranty claims. To their credit, though they couldn't repair or replace the stool, they took good care of me, and processed a full refund. I'll probably see if a local reupholster can repair the cushion for me, since the stool works well otherwise. Since these are no longer sold new, you probably are only going to read this if you are experiencing issues with one you bought, are are considering purchasing one used, or from old stock somewhere. Hope this feedback helps. Buyer beware.

Hesitated for a while due to the item's price. However, I finally pulled the trigger when furnishing my new home office and it's been an absolute delight. You can't see it via pictures, but the stool is actually very well made and feels like it costs $250. Which is good, because it does. The non-slip rubber bottom works great on carpet, the height adjustment mechanism is very springy and responsive, and the seat has just the right amount of cushion to keep you comfortable yet stable. There's an entire world between standing and sitting. Without this stool, I never would've known that my favorite work position is somewhere in the middle.

I love the concept. Initiated the return process and hope to get a new one as it should have been the case in the first place. It is puzzling how someone would ship a "new" product in this condition. It creates hassles. I want to give this company the opportunity to turn a wrong right. Felt in love with it from the moment I saw it. I want a new one as it should be! The company fixed the issue in record time, and I got a new one as it should have been in the first place. I love this product. It is not your comfortable item to sit on for 8 hours, and that is the beauty of it. It forces one to stand up, and move the joins!

First, this stool is super expensive for what you get. But I thought what the heck and bought it anyway figuring that if it didn’t quite work I’d just return it. Well it’s easy to assemble and looks cool but is not at all comfortable to sit or even lean on. And then when you return it, YOU pay for shipping back AND you can’t just drop it off at a UPS Store like all the other Amazon returns you do. You have to either print the label ahead of time or be charged by the UPS Store $1.18 to print the label and then $16 shipping back. So unless you’re sure you’re going to love this cool looking, semi-uncomfortable, highly priced stool, and know you won’t return it, maybe keep looking. Just my two cents after having just dropped it off at the UPS store and emptied the bank account a little.

This chair is not supposed to be used to "sit-sit" on all day. It is meant to lean on and occasionally move a bit while taking a rest from standing. It is perfect for this purpose. I am 6'4, 200+lbs and at the highest setting is just tall enough and very stable. I work up 8-12h on this chair 5-6 days per week, and it solved all problems of my standing-only setup.
