    • Excellent Bang for your Buck
This bass is easily the best value I have seen from multiple vendors. I must qualify my expectations as I am a guitar player/collector, and not a bass player except for occasional tinkering / jamming. I own a Squier pj bass which cost me a little over $300, and it doesn't even approach the tonal variation that this $129 Fojill is capable of producing. I put the two head to head through a Fender Rumble 60 amp, (clean channel, centered tone controls, 15% volume) and the Fojill outperformed my Squier in all respects. Most impressive is that this session was 'out of the box', and I find no need to adjust the bass for casual playing. I may want to tweak the intonation just a small fraction, but will not have any need to adjust truss rod or action as the set-up was low and playable with no fret buzz. All I had to do was tune up the strings which were of course loosened for shipping. Finish, hardware, all looks very nice and well done. My only complaint is that this model is now "temporarily out of stock". I actually bought this for a friend who is in need, and I really want one to keep. I would spend more time on this than I ever did on my Squier. This is the second Fojill guitar I have purchased, and I have decided to continue my trust in this company. My next foray into this line will be one of their assembly kits. I'm hoping they will offer a Les Paul style kit with dual humbuckers and individual tone/volume pots. I'll be waiting in line to buy one. I may just have been lucky, but I actually think this company has their act together. Highly recommend their products for any casual player, and for the pros out there as well. Anyone who has played for decades will customize their gear to their preferred electronics, tuners, etc. Fojill is a good choice to start with and to upgrade if you absolutely feel the need. ... show more

Decent but alittle light for my tastes. Spring for the 50$ more model and you'll be glad you did. No frills but solid.

This is an awesome bass not just for beginner one of my concerns buying this bass was that there would be neck dive but the was no neck dive and it is a great bass would definitely recommend.
