3/8/22 Balayage Brown & Blonde + 18P613 Highlight Blonde Full Shine Genius Weft Extensions Review I’ve been using Full Shine weft extensions for six months now, and I absolutely love them! Although I’m not a licensed cosmetologist, I’ve learned to install sew-in wefts on myself—and Full Shine made that possible. The quality is impressive for the price, especially for someone new to extensions. While I can’t compare them to top-tier salon-grade hair, I’d still give Full Shine a solid 5 stars. My natural hair is around 14 inches long, and I use the 22-inch extensions for added length and volume. I blend two shades: 3/8/22 Balayage Brown & Blonde with 18P613 Highlight Blonde, both in the genius weft style. I sandwich the balayage tone between the highlight blonde for the perfect dimensional blend. My natural roots are close to a 3N dark brown, so I color the balayage shade using Wella 3N demi-permanent color, which it takes beautifully—better than the lighter blonde shade, in my experience. I’ve also tried the hand-tied weft before and while it added great fullness, the return hair irritated my scalp. The genius weft, on the other hand, is lightweight, comfortable, and perfect for warmer months. Overall, I’m obsessed with Full Shine’s weft extensions. They’re ideal for beginners like me who want quality hair without the salon price tag. With proper care, they hold up well, style beautifully, and deliver incredible value. I have been using full shine for over 5 years now! I used to get the tap ins. Now purchasing the sew ins. I only get one row as my hair is thin. I like it to look more natural. Can’t say more about the quality of hair. Long lasting. Great costumer service. Also discounts for returning customers.

Hair color and thickness is great. I can not speak to any other color ways other than what I purchased...maybe the colorists do not know how to lift without damaging the hair (China)?? This hair has zero longevity to it and I mean and I mean it showed its ugliness in 3 daya It has taken me a bit to write this review because I am just so angry and disappointed. I purchased this hair because my son was getting married and I wish to have long hair for his wedding. So I purchased this hair along with full shines injected tape ins. Neither of these products have been worth a damn. The injected hair was just slightly better. The hair strands are highly damaged, severe split ends and incredibly dry. I keep cutting the ends off but there are slita in the shaft of the hair as well. Most of the hair shafts have rough cuticles from top to bottom. I would say at least 40% of the strands are coarse. When you open the packages the hair appears to be soft and silky so it must be coated with some silicones of some sort. But I washed the hairs before installing them. So that was the last time they were silky at all.( I do take great care of my extensions.) I use an inordinate amount of oils everyday: ranging from jojoba, Batana, Olive, and argan to name a few! I hoped to love these wefts but I will not purchase again nor would I recommend to anyone.

I love this hair! I got two of them. The thickness was great. Hair quality was excellent couldn’t even tell they were fake blended in my hair so good. Had great volume and was very soft! Had them for 6 months and they still look great.

i’ve been getting extensions on and off for the last 12 years. i wanted to do a shorter style for the summer and didn’t wanna cut my expensive ones so was looking for an alternative. i am shocked by the quality of these !!! they are amazing. i’ve seen some negative reviews and just wanna give some advice for maintenance. braid your hair at night, silk bonnet, silk pillowcase. replace your conditioner with a moisturizing deep conditioner (not a repair one, but a hydrating one), use a moisturizing leave in conditioner/daily (again, nothing that claims it’s repairing but instead hydrating- look at children leave ins/detanglers), oil your ends daily and multiple times a day. also my real hair was lightened and toned to a white/icy tone. i toned these extensions to match and they came out great. this is my first time being blonde. i have naturally curly hair and it’s dark. for integrity reasons i was willing to cut off a lot of my natural hair after lightening. i had expensive 24 inch extensions in after i did that for awhile but decided i wanted a medium butterfly cut for summer. i love the end result!

Color a bit ashier tone than pictured but very pretty. Quality was good at first, but after a few washes it gets super dry and frizzy. I used oil to keep it from being too bad, but definitely not wefts I will be able to use more than one install. Price was good with coupon, but not the quality I’m used to with Full Shine. Good weight and amount of hair. Does well with curling and straightening, but use heat protectant to minimize drying it out.
