Let me start out with I'm hooked on clip in extensions. I was bound and determined that I was not going to do so. It was either buy me a wig or try hair extensions. This is my first time with clip in extensions. I have tried Halo extensions and they have far too much hair on them for me. I had cut them down to thin strips and then I noticed these. I ordered a 3 pack and 7 pack. I thought the colors were going to be slightly different but they were the same under different names so the 3 pack went back. I could have done with all three of the pieces of the 3 pack being the 3 hook size or two 3 hook and one 2 hook. The 4 hook ones are a little wide for me. I guess I have a smaller head. The 7 piece pack is great. I can make 2 sets of 3 pieces and have the 4 hook piece as a spare. My head can only handle 3 pieces at a time. One set can be for my upcoming experiment in low-lightng the color 1000 I got. I use a color called Mushroom I get at Sally's to match my own tone to cover my grey and work around my highlights. I even add a little silver to cool down this already ashy tone further. I should be able to add some stripes of this mid to dark taupe/blond tone and not make a mess. Maybe eventually I will stick to all Platinum in the pieces and those will be my highlights... Now, to find a matching topper I do not have to lowlight...

Wow, I am blown away by how nice these are. I honestly didn't expect them to be such good quality. They are SOO soft and made of real hair. You can style then with a straightener or curling iron. I was worried the color I picked wouldn't match my hair but was amazed how it blends EXACTLY! They are so easy to clip in and come with a few with 3 clips (for top of head) and a few with 4 (for middle/lower). They are very lightweight and I don't even notice I am wearing them. They clip in very close to the scalp and lay very nicely. I got the shortest ones because I just wanted a little increase in length but I liked them so much I think I may get the longer ones for special occasions.

I don't hate these. In fact, the hair itself seems nice. They are really soft, color is very close to what is advertised. I have not tried any heat on them, so I can't speak for styling tools. I really like how light they feel, not really bulky and heavy at all compared with other extensions I have tried in the past. That said, I ended up ordering a second package of these, which were also a length size longer. I didn't think that I had thick hair at all, and these do not blend well at all with my hair. They are very thin, and appear quite shorter than what I expected. Head was kind of looking like a mushroom/mullet combo, as I can totally see every part of my actual hair line. Think Lady Gaga fringe mixed with Sia mixed with Joe dirt. My second order is due to arrive today, so I can give a better review once I have had a chance to try them with my others. I suspect the results will be much better.
