ordered weeks ago and they’re still feeling super soft and brand new, also a plus is if you have wavy hair or kinky/curly hair, after you shower and towel dry they dry like your natural hair. The length and thickness is worth the price, I have medium to thin hair and I ordered 3 packs , I could’ve done with 2 or for more volume 2.5 . I have dark brown balayage but these color matched perfect. One bad note is the tapes are really sticky even after weeks so if you want to move them up and ur hair grows fast I recommend buying tape in extension remover.

I am a hairdresser and this is my review and what I think people should know/do. The packs of hair are the fullest I have seen for the price, meaning at the bottom, the hair is not scraggly and thin, it is a nice full length strip with a blunt cut. But they are thin individually. Get more than you would usually get. Secondly, hair extension typically have some type of coating on them, that's why they are so silky...and thin. I wash mine upon arrival, KEEP YOUR TAPES DRY. I also gave my extension hair a treatment of Paul Mitchell PM shines clear and Olaplex. I have found over the years, putting a demi permanent color on my extensions keep them sealed, soft and shiny. It also, in my opinion, reduces the extensions from making my natural hair dry. You can also install your extensions and then after a couple of days, put a DEMI color, not permanent color, over your hair and the extensions. Try not to get it all over your tapes. Do not get conditioner all over your tapes. Do not get oils all over your tapes. It will dissolve the adhesive and your extensions will come out. Also, do yourself a favor and order extra tape or grab a pack from Sallys...you will need it if you lose an extension and need a quickie repair. I think these are decent extensions for the price, but like anything take care of the hair, or IT WILL MATT OVER TIME. You need to pony tail or braid them if they are really long when you sleep. Comb them from the bottom if they tangle, and lastly get yourself good shampoo and conditioner. I have not installed these yet, so my only concern now is the tapes, and that can be remedied with decent hair. Remember for retaping, you tape on top of the old tape, do not try to remove the first layer, they will fall apart. Most hair can be retaped and installed again up to 3-4 times if the hair is cared for. Good Luck! Cheers to great hair days! Update: I have had my extensions in for 2 solid weeks. They are great! Remember, install on really clean hair with no oily product on your hair. I shampoo every other day, but they are so well glued, I could probably shampoo daily with no issue. I braid them when I sleep to avoid frizz, and they are still shiny and soft. I did do pre treatments as stated above, but these extensions still look great with very minimal hair loss. I really like that they are not super straight. I can let them air dry and they have a little wave to them, but blowing them dry, they can be straight easily. I will suggest if your hair is naturally thin, get 2 packs of hair and some single sided extension tape! That way the hair goes further and you do not have so much thickness.

My sister and I both purchased 2 packs each of these tape in extensions. After we got them installed both looked and felt great. 72 hours after install we washed our hair and hers was great still the same look and feel however mine was unmanageable. Frizzy, dry feeling, and hard to brush. I do not think mine is 100% human hair. I’ve had several kinds of extensions including clip ins and none done this except for the synthetic hair clip ins I bought before I knew to buy 100% human hair. So just want to warn you there is a chance to end up with the kind of hair I got. We done nothing different with how we cared for them. Our stylist recommended weft extensions for when we remove these so we bought the weft in this same brand before I washed my hair and figured out how they turned out and I’m hoping neither of us have this same issue. I will be washing them before install to see how they turn out so I’m not out the price of the extensions plus to have them installed like I am with these tape ins.

It’s my perfect color match, and quality is great- especially considering the price point. I do however, immediately replace the tape with my go-to tape, so I can’t speak on the longevity of the bond itself, but the hair is great. I plan to purchase for the 5th time soon in a different length!

I’ve had sew in hand tied extensions before, but wanted to start DIYing it to save money. Out of the box, these feel the same as my premium hand tied extensions; time will tell how they wear. Even if they don’t hold up or can’t be used more than one application they’re a great option for learning how to DIY before committing to more expensive hair. I used a combination of 16” and 18” in colors #2 Dark Brown and #2/8/2 Dark Brown to Ash Brown to Dark Brown and the length is PLENTY for me (I’m 5’3”). I used 36 sandwiches, or 72 individual pieces; I have a blunt bob and needed a lot to blend it out. UPDATE: The texture of the hair changes SIGNIFICANTLY after the first wash. It becomes very frizzy, but smoothes out after I curl it. I don’t mind this too much because it’s the same texture as my real hair, but I can’t see how I’ll be able to reuse them for a second install if they continue to deteriorate.

Update: I got my hair done again with the full shine hair and my hair did end up getting lots of split ends by the time 6 weeks got here. I continued the same hair care routine but I added Paul Mitchel split ends sealer mask I still recommend but I would say use as less heat as you can so they will last longer. Like most I was skeptical about buy this hair. Most of the reviews I have read say that it frizzes after one week basically the first wash. Well I have had this hair in about two weeks and this hair is still (I only needed a few pieces of the dark brown hair to add with my other tapes)silky. It’s a perfect match to my hair color and I will be buying more!!! It holds curls well. I would like to add the products that I used to help keep it virtually frizzy free are: oleplex number 5, #1 highly recommend WOW dream coat it seals the hair cuticle and makes it silky and shiny and I used redken conditioner and I also use a deep conditioner it’s a 10 but I just ordered redken all soft so I’m excited to try that!! I ordered the dark brown hair it didn’t smell bad to me and the shedding is minimal.On a side note the tape that it comes with is not very good so I order better tape for it when I purchased. Lastly so far I do love this hair and I’ll be ordering more.
