This is a helmet. Has one of those sun things that you can flip up or down with its own lever besides the already wind shield. It’s comfortable but a bit too much padding in the cheek area. For some reason all of these helmets don’t have locks for the shields so they stay down. This one at least has a tab but come on how many reviews do I have to give before you start putting locks to keep the shields down. This is a great helmet will do better than most. Has the quick release buckle which I’m getting more use to once you get it set but not easily adjustable if someone else were to use it. Deserves a three star but I’m giving it four because it has too much good stuff and is just too nice and is just too good of a deal. Has a Dot sticker on the back.

Go big. I measured my head at 23 1/2" with a slightly loose tape which is a large according to the chart. I went up a size to the XL and it still fits very tight. But it does fit. It is quite well made. All the right vents, aero shape, soft padding with good stitching, plenty of rigid shell foam. Appropriate DOT markings. Clear and tinted visors. I like the flat finish. Don't like the red ratchet latch chin strap because my beard hairs get caught in it while fastening. That doesn't happen with D rings. I prefer D rings, have used them for a very long time, but I understand why new riders want something new. This replaces a flip up chin HJC which I really liked, but it took a beating when I parked on fresh blacktop parking lot. Sidestand sunk in, helmet fell off seat, bike fell on top of helmet, broke the chin off. That could come off in a crash the same way. So I'm back to full face. Really going to miss the ability to eat and drink drive thru drinks with helmet on. This is a good price for a quality helmet.

Our daughter needed a new helmet so when I saw this one, I thought I would take a chance on it. Make sure you do measure your head before ordering, I am glad we did! The description said to order up a size if you measure between sized and she did. We opted to go with the larger size and it fits her just a little bit loose right now, but when it is tightened up, it doesn't wobble on her head. This also means we have a couple of years before she outgrows it. I love the built in sunglasses, we have another helmet in the house that has these and it is great so that was a wonderful option with this one. The other option is to replace the front visor with a shaded visor. We did try that and it was fairly easy to swap out but it is just enough of a pain that we probably won't do it often, especially with the built in shades, but it may be right up your alley if you like that. Overall, I am very satisfied with this helmet for my child!

This is a very nice helmet. Very sturdy and comes with quite a few useful options. The sizing is definitely not normal so make sure you actually measure to get the best fit. I really like that it is DOT certified at a reasonable price. It's matte black which gives it an edgier look. I am very happy with this helmet and highly recommend it to anybody looking for quality and affordability.
