We really like this brush. I got my original one 4 years ago and it held up great until one day my husband scrubbed really hard with it and the top broke off from the handle. We liked it so much better than others and it’s cheaper that we got another one. The wooden handle is comfortable and easy to hold so you can really get in their with the scrubbing. The flat plastic side at the top of the scrubber makes scraping out caked and baked on food easy. The bristles are a stiff but flexible plastic which in my opinion makes it better than the Lodge brush. They are stronger and better able to get a good clean cast iron vs the bristles on the Lodge brush feel TOO soft and dense. The bristles on this brush are spread out in bunches which makes it less like to get gunked up with grease and debris and it’s easier to clean. We use two different scrub brushes for doing dishes: this one for cast irons only and another for all the other dishes. In the 4 years we had our original scrub brush, the bristles are still nearly as good as our brand new one. ... show more

This product is an ABSOLUTE “must have” if you use cast iron cookware! When combined with the chain mail scrubber and rock salt, no cooked on mess is too tough! This is an unstoppable force!
