Was A Bit Disappointed now Very Satisfied
Works to charge the batteries simultaneously but the screen is constantly flickering. This is extremely annoying, I had the unit replaced but the replacement behaved exactly the same way. I was unable to contact the manufacturer to determine if this is a defect or what, going to keep trying it and if it does not stop with the flickering, I will return before the window closes. I was hoping for this to be a long-term solution to becoming more ecologically responsible. Company reached out to me to address my concern acknowledging that they did discover an issue with a supplier and have resolved this issue. There is no doubt that this device works as described and is worth the money if you have several rechargeable batteries. Over time this can save you a bundle in replacement batteries for remote control devices. I am very happy with the way the company addressed my concern and have changed my rating from 1 star to 5 star. Feel confident purchasing this item. The Seller/Manufacturer stands behind their product and that is important when making any purchase. I need to make one more update to this review. The seller suggested a different charger also sold on Amazon that met the specifications and that definitively proved there was nothing wrong with the charger itself at all. I would 100% recommend this purchase if this is the type (capacity) of charger that you need...rechargeables save money and the environment vs non rechargeable types.

Good Battery Charger/ Responsive Vendor
I purchased this charger to specifically charge a 9V Ni-CD Battery. It wouldn’t even recognize the battery when installed. I then looked at the product label (picture included) and Ni-CD batteries are not supported. Batteries supported are; - AA/AAA Ni-NM - 9V Battery Ni-MH / Li-ion. Curious that the product description doesn’t even mention Li ion support but says Ni-CD IS supported EDIT to ADD: The vendor responded to this review and offered a refund. I was not interested in a refund but for them to correct the description. They corrected the description in less than 3 days. I'm glad the vendor was responsive therefore I will we give them 4 STARS. I do like the ability to charge 16 NiMH batteries at a time!.

My charge…my choice!
I use this all the time to change my rechargeable batteries for my speed lights. I don’t leave it plugged up because I am concerned with the longevity of this unknown brand. It feels like if I ever dropped it, it would stop functioning. Time will tell. As for now, it does what I need it to do well.

Reports good batteries as bad and won’t charge half the time.
10/08/2025 update: this thing is getting worse and worse. I can take a battery off of it and put it right back on, and it will flag the battery it was previously charging seconds ago as a bad battery and will not continue to charge it. This thing makes you feel like you have alkaline batteries instead of rechargeable due to its impossible testing tolerance. I wanted something that would keep a lot of batteries charged and ready, but instead, this is judge, jury, and executioner of rechargeable batteries that are still good. Original: I have two high end rechargeable battery tester/conditioners. Each one indicates my batteries are fine. I bought this charger to have bulk batteries ready versus running 4 at a time. Well the electronics in these seem to think they are superior battery health testers over units that are specifically made to do so, and it flags batteries as bad well before it is time. As a result, it won’t charge the batteries. It does well at keeping a lot of batteries charged and handy, but not when it’s too busy falsely flagging batteries as bad.
