Bought this throttle body for my 08 Impala 3.5 V6 because it kept throwing the code P2138 and it did a P2135 a couple times and would put my car in limp mode (reduced engine power). I replaced the peddle and still have the code. So I purchased this throttle body. The install was very easy. The problem is my car idles at 650-700 RPM's with no load, with this throttle body my RPM's will jump from the idle point to 1200-1400 RPM's without touching the gas peddle just letting your foot off the break, even does it in reverse. It's pretty interesting to be easing back and all the sudden your accelerates out of nowhere. When I would stop my RPM's would sit at approx. 1200 then eventually go down to where they should be. But once again as soon as I would let off the break the car would lunge forward, which can be and is dangerous. My car would accelerate to 20MPH before I even had to touch the gas peddle. I went and bought one from the auto parts store and the car runs like a champ. ... show more
