I ordered two of these, one for me and the other for my wife. We were getting ready to take an MSF riders course and wanted to get some cheaper DOT approved helmets. Overall, these are nice helmets for the price and served the purpose. My only problem is that this was from old stock. The piping around the bottom edge of mine was becoming separated from the bottom of the helmet. I glued it back in place as it was not worth sending back (and we didn't have time) Also, mine had a date of 7/2015 and hers was 6/2016. It is recommended, even in Fuel's product notes, to replace a helmet "after five riding seasons". The impact resistant material is basically styrofoam and that stuff doesn't last forever. Still, the helmets served the purpose for which I bought them and we plan on replacing them with a higher quality helmet later. These helmets can also be found at Walmart so I would recommend that you check there first and maybe try and check when it was made before you buy. ... show more

Helmet fit great and is super light, great price too… kind of “ mushroom head” looking but not ridiculously. Only wish it had a quick detach chin strap release but for the price I’m not going to complain.

It is very nice and very lightweight only thing is keep an eye out the screws were loose and the visor and I have a scratch on top I just unboxed it so I haven't used it yet! Not going to return as it will have more scratches shortly! And also it fits as it should!

    • Size Chart Might Be Off, Maybe The Helmet Size Is Mislabeled?
I ordered the XL because my head is 24" but the XL I received is too small. I bought the same helmet (61-62CM XL Size) from Hot Leathers a couple of years ago and it fits perfectly. Either the sizing chart is off or perhaps the helmet is mislabeled? This one doesn't have the little red strap to quick release the D-ring. Even though it did come in Gloss Black, not damaged and was well packed, I have to return it because it doesn't fit. ... show more
