This book nook is absolutely amazing and worth every penny. The coffee shop theme is done so well, and the attention to detail is impressive. From the front door that actually functions, to the expandable side that makes the shop feel bigger, to the tiny menu, food items, coffee station, and cozy seating area. Everything about it feels thoughtful and high quality. The lights are a huge bonus and really bring the whole piece to life once it’s finished. It was a fun, hands-on build that was both relaxing and rewarding, and the end result looks incredible on a shelf. The only downside is that it did not come with glue, so be sure to have some on hand before starting. Other than that, this is a fantastic project and would make a great gift or personal build for anyone who loves miniatures or book nooks.

If you like building models, putting together lego kits or 3d wood puzzle kits, then this is a great kit. There are alot of pieces. The directions are very clear. Very little glue is required. The finished result is absolutely beautiful. Make sure to take off the plastic on both sides of the acrylic pieces. They're are backup pieces for most of the pieces that are prone to breaking. This is my 3rd book nook kit. The first was Butterfly of unknown. I enjoyed doing it so much that I've gotten several more. The 2nd one was a Christmas gift book nook kit with "window" scenes on each side. That one was almost completely made from scratch. It required way too much thinking. I find the act of assembling an item very relaxing. I like to see all the parts come together and take shape. This one is so detailed its like entering another world. I love it!!!

First time purchasing one of these wooden miniature kits and was not disappointed. Loved the whole design of this coffee shop and all the details that were included. Instructions were pretty clear and straight forward. Only problem I ran into was with one of the book shelves not being level when inserted into the wall which caused the part with drawers to stick out (pictured). Other than that I enjoyed every second of building it and was happy that it included the lighting. Took me a few hours to complete. Looking forward to purchasing the other models.

I thoroughly enjoyed putting this together for the most part, and there were some issues. In one of the areas, the holes weren't quite punched into the wood in the correct spot. So there's a little cabinet on the left side where the part that is supposed to look like drawers doesn't fit in the slot it's intended for. It sticks out a little bit because the parts don't line up properly. It's not a dealbreaker, but it would've been nice for it to look the way it's supposed to. Another issue is that the main supports for the front door would not stay pushed into the holes, and it was pretty frustrating putting the final touches on. I would recommend gluing those. Things kept shifting and coming loose. Take some deep breaths before you do the wiring of the lights, because that was another source of frustration. The last issue is that there are two hinges that need to be used in the assembly, and one of them was only a partial hinge. I attempted to find a way to contact the company, and it was not possible from what I can see. The manufacturer does not appear to have a website. Then I tried to contact Amazon but for some reason, the app would not allow that. So I had to spend another eight dollars purchasing hinges from Amazon to replace the one that would not work. Thankfully I was able to find an exact match. It's very cute, the price is reasonable, and hopefully you will have better luck than I did with some of the parts. Other than that, it is well-made. Make sure you purchase some craft glue before you start assembly, because you will need it and it is not included.

This was so fun to put together! Directions were clear and easy to follow. Glue was only required on the windows as everything else snapped into place. I purchased B-7000 glue and it was a breeze to use. No mess. I can’t wait to choose and put together another book nook!

I loved putting this together. It looks fantastic on my bookshelf and matches my aesthetic. It is pretty sturdy. I did break one of the bendable pieces but a little glue and you can’t tell. The lights work great. It also only took a few hours and I want to make a bunch more. Instructions were clear. Just a great project.

Nice project. I bought it as a gift for a friend that is very crafty. She really liked the challenge and spent several hours trying to make it perfect. The final product is very nice. I wish this products had different levels of difficulty, clearly marked, to be easy to decide to move to the next level if looking for a bigger challenge

Pros: it has a lot of details in the scene which make it really fun to put together. The lights have been the best identified and clear as to where to install of the book nooks I’ve done. Once it’s all assembled it looks really great! My first kit was missing the tiny mirror which ends up on the top floor, front of the final product. Make sure you inventory all the parts with the instruction book before you begin. I returned the first one and it was promptly replaced with a complete set. Cons : this does NOT come with glue which is required for many steps of the assembly, and even some that didn’t call for glue. Fortunately I had some glue from other kits I’ve done otherwise if this was my first kit I would be lost about what glue to use. The worst part of this is that the walls do not snap together well to the floor pieces and some of the interior wall decor. The latter being the gluing that wasn’t part of the assembly. Since the walls didn’t snap tightly to the floor pieces while it’s partially assembled and you’re still working on it it would easily fall apart making it very frustrating. The only other downside to it is there is a wheel to open and close the entry door of the business (the black door on the lower level) but it’s on the bottom of the unit so if you want to change it or show it to someone else you have to pick up the entire box to do so. It looks really cute when it’s all done but due to the issues with the walls I noted above I only gave it 3 stars. This would be okay for a younger teen with a lot of patience or adult assistance otherwise I would recommend it more for adults.
