These thermals are a solid choice if you're looking for affordable, basic utility layers. I sized up for a looser fit and was really pleased with the white one—it fit exactly as expected and kept me warm. However, the black thermal (same size) was noticeably tighter, especially in the arms, to the point where I had to struggle to get it on. They're not good, they're not bad. They're a prime example of "you get what you pay for." Not soft, not rough, not super warm but better than nothing. Almost no stretch and they definitely run small. I'm not a big guy; 5'11" 170lbs. Fit, but by no means bulky. I usually wear medium, but bought large so I could chuck these in the dryer with the rest of my work clothes. Not gonna happen. Size large is tight through the chest and arms, and since there's no stretch, they border on annoyingly restrictive. It's a decent cheap, kinda warm shirt to wear under my shop clothes and not care if it gets destroyed working on engines during the winter. Would not recommend, at all, for actual insulation working outside. But as a little something to keep you warm working inside, they'll do. ... show more
