Originally bought this catnip because it has no other fillers like mint like other catnips do! This is very important since I've run a rescue of at least 38 in my rescue at this present moment. It refreshes toys just beautifully. This is also great and reasonably priced per the ounce. If you were to go anywhere else you would pay two and a half times to get the same amount! When I compared this catnip to other brands I can see a visual difference there is fillers and not high quality items in the other catnips.... But this brand is all clean fresh bright and vibrant and fragrant. Also my cats do not get sick on this catnip and the effects of this catnip on my cats is way better than the store-bought stuff I used to buy before! My kitties really love the stuff more than the old store bought stuff it's a big difference in their behavior once they taste the catnip. Their behavior when they have the other brand is that they end up fighting with each other. The new behavior with this catnip is a little bit more chilled out and they don't fight as much. And a little goes a long way in comparison to the store-bought stuff. The store-bought stuff I would have to use 10 times the amount to get the effect of a little small pinch from this friend for all 38 cats. I also noticed that the old brand I was buying before my cats would get sick on it. But they have not gotten sick on this catnip from this amazing company!

I have purchased high quality organic catnip over the past 16 years. I never purchased this brand, because who needs 1 lb, right? (I bought this because it's so hot and cockroaches are sneaking into the screened front patio and trying to weasel their way into the house, and I read that catnip is a superb cockroach repellent, even better than deet. I tried it and it actually works.) When I open the bag I was hit with the most intense smell of catnip. I sprinkled it where I needed to sprinkle it outside along the sliding screen door. I hope that my cats don't completely spaz out. I also purchased this brand because I have purchased their organic lavender and their organic parsley and have never been disappointed. Top quality.

Terrific product. We use this to help anxiety and as a sleep aid. Also in homemade mosquito repellent, and other home remedies. We also give this to our cats occasionally. The cats say this is some really good nip and they barely contain themselves from taking my hand with the nip if I don't get it onto the floor fast enough for them to roll in it (and eat it). This is a nice large bag and it lasts really well. The cats have not complained about it losing potency over the time we've had it (well over a year). Highly recommend for both humans and cats.

This is catnip meant for tea, so it's meant for being ingested. So this means it's safe and healthy for cats! Some catnip is grown with chemicals and I want my cats to have the best. Because this is sold for tea I know it's a great quality and perfect for them! It comes a little more chunky than catnip sold for pets, but its easy to crunch up for them as we use it. This literally was such an amazing deal for the price we will have catnip for a long time and the cats all have it often lol there's just so much. Highly recommend for cats, best quality and value for sure!

Cats go bananas for this stuff! I made the first batch of cat toys with it and gave one to a friend to test out with her cat. She was sure her cat wouldn't like it, she'd never been crazy about catnip toys before, but she went nuts for this stuff! It has a very strong scent (quite pleasant to me), and the package I got was good quality. This size package would last a normal household for years, but if you have a ton of cats, are looking for a great donation for a cat rescue/shelter in your area, or make cat toys, this is for you! I'll be ordering another soon! Update 11/17/17: BEWARE OTHER SELLERS! I am revising this review again after contacting the manufacturer. I previously ordered 2 or 3 bags from seller EarthWise Aromatics, and received the product on the right in the images attached. I was irritated to find when I re-ordered from another seller and then from Amazon directly that I received a completely different product, much coarser and with tons of stems. I assumed that they might have changed the cut for a new batch or there was some other explanation for the variation from Frontier, but it turns out that I was sent an incorrect item in all of my first orders. If you receive a clear plastic bag, a bag with a zip closure, or a bag with catnip looking anything other than like the bag on the left of my images, you were not sent true Frontier Co-op catnip! Frontier always uses the same kind of bags and has not changed their manufacturing. Much as I hate to do it to an Iowa company being a native Iowan, I am also removing a star due to the inferior quality of the cut in the true Frontier brand product. Their product is full of stems, many over an inch long. It does have the same strong scent as the other stuff I received previously, though, so I have no doubt that cats will still enjoy it.

LOVE THIS CATNIP!!! My 5 cats LOVE THIS CATNIP!!! I buy two pounds at a time as I store their cat toys in containers with this catnip. It makes the toys last a lot longer with the catnip scent when stored in it. I change it out a few times a year in the containers. After I change out the containers, I put a pile of it on the floor (laminate) and let my cats go to town in the pile! They love it and really enjoy rolling in it and eating it. I sweep it up the next day. I have very happy cats this way! This catnip is bright green so I know it is freshly picked and dried. I store any leftovers in the foil bag it comes in, and put it in the freezer till I need it Great stuff!!

Should have 10 stars !! I opened the bag and my cats (even the one that really didn't take to the nip made especially for cat) could smell it from the living room. So strong and fresh. My girls and I will share. Thank you so much 💓
