  • Can’t go wrong with this
Color: Black/Black Size: XX-Large
Great gear. Used it during a fishing trip in the spring of the year. Kept me dry during a rainy day. Size was spot on. Very lightweight and comfortable. I would recommend this product.

  • Great for a job that requires working outside in the rain.
Color: Stone/Black Size: Medium
I bought this for my son when he got a job with the railroad bc he's outside in all weather. He wore them for two years before needing a replacement. Great for a job that requires working outside in the rain.

  • It's an okay rain suit
Color: Realtree Timber Size: Large
It's a nice rain suit. The jacket fits good. The pants are kinda large. Made of good materials. I don't like the attached hood. It gets a 3 star rating because there are No pockets, none! Minus 1 star for no jacket pockets Minus 1 star for no pants pockets. I won't be using this rain suit golfing. No pockets for my balls! Haaahaaha ... show more

  • Semidisposable
Color: Stone/Black Size: X-Large
Got these for an ocean fishing trip. They worked great and held up beyond what i had been led to expect from reviewers. The material is kinda strange, maybe sorta like very heavy duty tyvek? It had lots of folds and wrinkles but kept me dry and warm (wore them over jeans and a sweatshirt.) I used their sizing chart and ordered wnat they reccomended, and the fit was just fine. I hung these out to air rather than throwing them in the dryer, and the fish smell was gone in 3 days. I expect to get more use out of these, to my surprise; as i was expecting a one-time use from the price. I did miss the pockets in the jacket, but the elastic waistband let me reach inside to the jeans- just a learning curve..... ... show more

  • Field simulation test results: POOR
Color: Realtree Max-5 Size: X-Large
This Frogg Toggs Camo Jacket + Pants combo claims to be quiet, waterproof and breathable. If true, it would be a steal at $33 and change for the budget conscious hunter. We put it to the test as soon as receiving it in the mail and PRIOR TO ever going out to the field with it. Here are the results: Waterproofness: F (Failed) Went under the shower head and intended to stay under for about 10 minutes. Had to call it in about 3 minutes, because water could be felt coming in the suit - see photos. Water mainly came in at the seams of the jacket at shoulder level (see photo of the polo shirt I was wearing underneath for how much water got through at that point). Pants held up decently, but there were still a couple of minor wet spots at thigh level. If those were the results in 3 minutes you can just imagine how soaking wet you'll be hunting with this on a rainy day. Breathability: D. Claims to be breathable, but as soon as zipping it up one can immediately feel the heat building up inside. Not ideal for hot weather conditions. Durability: D. Material appears to be some sort of corrugated paper treated for repelling water. Will definitely have a few holes in it after a few uses out in the field. May last you 1 or 2 seasons, but that's it. Packability: C+ Packable? Sure, as much as folding a piece of paper can be; that's what it's made of after all. Fit: C+ Big enough to allow you to wear warmer clothing underneath in cold weather. You're not going to win any awards for being the best dressed hunter out there though. Felt baggy... Think Michellin man. Quietness: F+++ Went up and down a flight of stairs and walked around in it to break it in. Verdict: Wildlife will hear you coming over miles away. There is plenty of noise even when rotating your head with the hood on. Price/Value: C+ For $33 you'd think this would be a good value, and you'd be wrong. If you're going to wear this on a hunt and you know 100% that it will be sunny, you may be willing to forgive this suit's flaws. However, if you are looking for something that is quiet and breathable as well as fit better than a sack of potatoes, you should invest a few more bucks and buy something better. Needless to say, this suit will NOT keep you dry. ... show more

  • Exactly what I hoped it would be.
Color: Stone/Black Size: X-Large
Most important thing: all the reviews saying these run large are correct. They're meant to be worn over clothes. I'm 6' 6" and 300 lbs (and no, it's not all muscle :o) ). I usually wear a 36" inseam and a 38" - 40" waist, and 2XL tall in shirts. I would normally have ordered the 2XL size, but I went with XL based on comments about sizing. XL turned out to be a nearly perfect fit. Fit: ~ The length of the pant legs is perfect. The waist-band is elastic with a draw-string, which I don't need because they're a snug (but not tight) fit. There are narrow velcro straps at the ankles to adjust the fit, which is great for bicycling. ~ The coat is almost as good a fit as the pants, but it could be just a skotch longer. Not a real problem, just a preference. The bottom of the coat also has a draw-string to help with the fit. The arms are just about the perfect length. ~ The hood is very large, possibly too large, especially if you're facing into the wind and not using the draw-strings to cinch it tight. It will fit most of the way over my bicycle helmet (and I have a large head, thus a large helmet). It's detachable. Construction: ~ There are no pockets on either the coat or pants. ~ The material really is like a reusable shopping back, but not at all flimsy. I don't think you'd have a problem with tearing unless you wear it around brambles or scrap metal or other snaggy stuff. I can see where piling might happen, and I'm pretty sure thistles would stick to it. ~ It's super lightweight. ~ I don't think it would be very packable. The material is a bit too stiff for that, not like nylon. This is more of a hang-up or fold-up kind of rainsuit. ~ It's very breathable. Aside from the excellent fit, this is what I was most excited about. I try to bike in all weather. That could be very cold rain, sweltering rain, or snow, depending on the season. Yesterday I rode in the rain both to and from work. It was around 40F (4C) in the morning and 50F (10C) in the evening, and it was very windy. I wore a short-sleeved button-up shirt and khakis underneath. I could feel the air moving against my skin and it kept me cool, but not too cool, and it kept the rain out 100%. ... show more
