Buy it!! If you’re thinking about it, do it! I waited too long to break the bedtime habit with my girl and then the boy came along and there were pacis everywhere. So near impossible to break it. Now they’re 3 and almost 2 and I bought 2 sets. I hyped it up, “these are special pacis only for big kids!” And then I hyped up when they moved ‘up’ in numbers. Told them that when they get done with number 5 they sleep with no paci and they get a visit from the PACI FAIRY! Hah! They were so excited. And I’ll be honest. I didn’t think it would work. But it did! No tears, no fight, just easy! This morning they’re playing with a bucket of dollar store toys from the paci fairy and not worried about the paci at all! The fairy took them all away! Lmao! The info didn’t really say how to use them but basically start at 1 and move up gradually. I took 4-5 days with each number and then they didn’t even use the number 5 one. I offered it once to the oldest and she wanted the number 4 back. So I just didn’t offer one the next night and then said that the fairy was coming. Lol

I'm gonna be honest, I really was not sure about these. I have a three year old and a one and a half year old. My three year old was ATTACHED to her binky. I tried many different things from the binky fairy to cutting the tips of the binky off to cold turkeying it. Nothing worked with my three year old, and with it being hard to get her off of it, it made it that much more difficult with my one and a half year old. The first thing I did was get them binkies that had more of an alike shape to these weaning ones. I knew if I tried switching from their mam binkies, it never would have worked. The hardest out of all the numbers wasn't even them, it was switching to the binky with an alike nipple. I switched each one while they were asleep, so it was already in their mouths when they woke up. My daughter was very upset about the change in nipple shape, I mean screaming, crying, calling out for her old binky. Without even thinking, I somehow came up with the story that binky was going through growth spurts like she does. With that, she decided to give the new shape a try. I kept them on that binky for two weeks before trying the weaning kit. When I switched to number one, both didn't even notice at first until midday I heard my daughter holler, "binky changed colors!!" I got all excited for her and said, "Oh my gosh! Binky had another growth spurt!!" It kept the experience optimistic for her and something to look forward to. We kept them on number one for two weeks and then I made the change to number two. It was the same experience again, they did not notice until about midday and then I'd hear the excited, "Binky changed colors again!! Yay!!" However, I made the switch every three days instead to avoid them getting too used to that number. As we got to number 3, I noticed both my kids barely asking for binky. It was really only desired for sleep time and if they were super upset. They even would fall asleep for nap time without them. My one and a half year old gave binky up at number 4, saying, "Eww!!" when I tried to give him binky. I still switched binky to number 5 for both, so to my daughter it appeared that both were still having growth spurts. Switching to 5 for my three year old was hard, but it was a bittersweet moment. She came to me in the middle of the night upset that she couldn't hold binky in her mouth anymore. I told her that binky was finally all grown up, and we should celebrate. The next day we had cookies in celebration. She still asked for binky for a couple of days, and we allowed her to carry number 5 around to reassure her that binky was all grown up. Eventually (within two days), she stopped asking for it and I discreetly put it away for good. She did not ask about binky again until a week later. I reminded her that binky was all grown up and off to bigger and more exciting things in life. That answer seemed to please her and she has been good for a month now. I never thought we would get her weaned off, but honestly these worked magic, especially with our fun little story to them. I will forever recommend these to anybody.

I was very unsure of how well my son would do without his paci, he’s 18m and I have had a struggle with his attachment to it, it had gotten to the point where he wouldn’t sleep unless he had a paci in his mouth. I ordered this as a last resort, and let me jsut say I cannot rave enough about this product. I didn’t think it would work because he was so used to one paci, but the first 2 days with the number 1 frida paci and he was done. He did not want anything to do with a paci anymore and he sleeps just fine without it. We didn’t even need to get to the numbers 3-5 in the paci kit. Another reason why I love the frida brand so much!

Worked well with both of my kids. Both of my children were extremely attached to their pacifiers (my oldest was worse though). With each we used this weaning system a couple months after they turned 2. My first child we tried to take his pacifiers away cold turkey. There was so much screaming and crying so we found this weaning system. By the third pacifier in the system and in less than a weak he voluntarily gave up the pacifier without any tears. My second made it all the way to the last pacifier then told us it was broken so when he asked for a pacifier after that we just repeated back it was broken. He never cried or fused about not having it anymore and it didn't disrupt his sleeping. Would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Ok so I was very skeptical about this product initially. My daughter could NOT sleep without her binky and when I tried cutting it, she lost. her. mind. Kept crying and saying it was “broken”. So for a few days prior to giving her these new binkies, I told her a fairy would be taking hers to babies that need them and she would get new ones. I eventually put the new ones in her crib and took all the old out. She noticed obviously but didn’t fuss much and I reiterated where they went and why. I gave her two of them at a time ( 1-2, then 2-3, then 3-4 and finally 5) each time it changed she used the bigger of the two but when all she had was #5, she realized it wasn’t satisfying. She set it on her nightstand AND WENT TO SLEEP. ZERO crying or fuss and the binkies are gone. I’m telling you if you’re skeptical just try it, this works!!!!!!

So these didn't really work for my baby but are good quality. I honestly thought they didn't have a hole in them to collect spit and bacteria but they do. They are easy to clean. I still love the concept.
