I bought this for my son when he was a baby, and bought another for my baby niece a year later. It was the first thing we thought to get her -- my kid loved it so much. It has a nice texture (baby liked holding it), the glove design stays on so the baby doesn't get frustrated, and it must have a great mouthfeel because they both really went to town. Later, as he developed he really liked tracing the face of the penguin. It's silicone, so you do have to make sure it's clean (it can pick up stray hairs), but that's true of any teething toy made out of the same material. It's really easy to clean and sanitize though.
