  • Great budget sucker for babies
Configuration: Nasal Aspirator
3 month old has RSV so bought this and my sil loaned me her nosiboo so I just did a side by side comparison and think they both have their purpose. TLDR: nosiboo is very nice but very expensive, electric nose frida is a great budget electric sucker that can be used on the go and is way more effective than a manual sucker so a major upgrade if that’s all you have currently. Nosiboo: -Tip is bigger, about the size of baby’s nostril so if it was any bigger it would be been too big for my 3 month old. -the bigger size made it get all the mucus all around quicker. -more variability to the suction level between lowest to medium to highest settings The low and medium felt the equivalent suction on my fingertip as the low and medium on the nose frida. The highest level was a bit higher than the nose frida (medium was sufficient to clear all the mucus from baby) -I think if the tip was narrower the suction level would’ve felt higher than the nose frida at all levels tho but idk if it’d be necessary or a good thing -definitely louder sounds like you’re turning on a vacuum it scared my toddler making her think I was going to hurt the baby with it - I like how it all comes apart to clean each piece. And there’s only one booger catcher spot to clean (it collected the same amount of boogers/saline as the nose Frida typically does but all in one spot not on two levels which is a major plus) -the piece that goes into the tube does take longer to air dry because it’s so tight I can’t manually dry it with a paper towel to speed up the process, and it’s important for that part especially to be dried completely so it doesn’t break the pump with moisture so more down time between uses potentially -super pricey tho, currently $165 on Amazon and needs to be plugged in to a wall which isn’t ideal. I will definitely enjoy borrowing it this time but wouldn’t spend the money to buy our own unless the electric nose frida ends up breaking after a short amount of time or something. Electric Nose Frida: -smaller tips so needs to be moved around in a circle to get all the mucus from every angle in the nostril, so it takes a little bit longer while fighting a baby throwing hands and shaking her head back and forth. -way smaller and more compact with a travel case for portability and doesn’t need to be plugged in. We can get many suctions per full charge and it uses the usb c so was able to charge with a power bank that’s in my diaper bag -there’s two levels of booger catcher spots and the lower one is close to the hole where it goes to the motor which you don’t want to get water in so it’s trickier to clean that level - very quiet hum even on the highest setting (but the baby cries just as loud and as much regardless which is used so not sure the device volume really matters because of that) - the distraction light is a total gimmick feature, the kid couldn’t care less about and it’s actually not even bright enough to catch any attention unless you’re suctioning in the dark (who would do that) - definitely works way better than the manual nose Frida and the suction bulbs I was using before tho so is an improvement from that -for the price of $39 totally good enough of an improvement for us to be worth it and a nice addition to the diaper bag along with a small saline spray during this sickness season Will update this if it breaks but so far have used it many times the last few days and have been very pleased with it. Its helping my baby breathe so well worth the $ ... show more

  • DISAPPOINTED
Configuration: Nasal Aspirator
I regret to say that the Frida Baby Electric NoseFrida Nasal Aspirator has left me thoroughly disappointed. Despite the brand’s reputation for innovative baby products, this particular nasal aspirator falls short in various aspects, making it a regrettable purchase. (I LOVE all this brands products and am shocked how this turned out) First and foremost, the noise level of this nasal aspirator is surprisingly high. The loud motor not only startles my baby but also makes the entire nasal suction process stressful for both of us. A quieter operation would greatly improve the overall usability and comfort for infants and toddlers. While the device claims to have three suction levels, the difference between them is minimal at best. Even at the highest setting, the suction power seems inadequate for effectively clearing mucus, particularly during more severe congestion. This limitation renders the adjustable suction feature nearly pointless. The USB rechargeable functionality, while convenient in theory, proves to be problematic in practice. The battery life is disappointingly short, requiring frequent recharging. This becomes inconvenient, especially during crucial moments when you need the aspirator to perform without interruption. The silicone tips, while soft, do not effectively seal around the nostrils, allowing air to escape and reducing the overall suction power. A more secure and airtight fit is crucial for optimal performance in nasal aspiration devices. I was very upset and highly disappointed with this product as it broke after using it a handful of times. I also want to make it aware I did clean it and dry it as directed after every use. This is a must need for my infant baby during winter months to help him and it did NOT do anything. It made a LOUD scary noise and shut off from working and was broken. Considering the premium price point of the Frida Baby Electric NoseFrida Nasal Aspirator, I expected a product that delivers on its promises. Unfortunately, this nasal aspirator has fallen far below my expectations, leaving me with a sense of frustration and regret for investing in a product that fails to live up to its marketed features. In conclusion, I would strongly advise potential buyers to explore alternative nasal aspirator options that offer better design, quieter operation, and more effective suction power. The Frida Baby Electric NoseFrida Nasal Aspirator, in its current state, is not a reliable solution for parents seeking a hassle-free and effective nasal clearing experience for their little ones. ... show more
