Description

Freud's crosscutting blade is specifically engineered to enhance the performance of underpowered saws, delivering clean, precise cuts in hardwoods, softwoods, and moldings. The advanced Perma-SHIELD non-stick coating minimizes friction and heat build-up, allowing the blade to pull 1/3 less on the motor, translating to up to 33% more effective cutting power. This makes it an excellent choice for jobsite and portable saws with limited horsepower. The blade's thin kerf design removes less material per pass than standard carbide blades, reducing strain on the saw and enabling smoother, faster feed rates with less effort. It’s built with a Premium TiCo Hi-Density Carbide Crosscutting Blend, offering exceptional durability, edge retention, and finish quality for even the most detailed work. A positive hook angle further enhances performance by promoting efficient, controlled cuts and improving overall cutting speed.

  • Great blade. Would buy again. !Double check the teeth!
Size: One Size Style: 10-Inch 60 Tooth ATB Thin Kerf Crosscutt... Pattern Name: Solid
Hands down would buy it over and over again. Great for straight cuts and getting clean cuts when ripping. Gums up a bit quick, only had the blade for a couple weeks and only cut a little bit of pine, but a single board of walnut and the teeth were showing sap buildup already on the sides. Easy to clean though. Tried to use it to cut lapjoints, but the teeth make a valley and dont produce a flat clean groove. The sides are great but that bottom is grooved and requires extra work to flatten/smooth out. Cutting at an angle proved to be pretty great on my rigid r4512 (i think thats the right model number, its the latest version of the saw, i know theres an older model). I made a hexagon shelf and i was cutting the middle board ends with an arrow tip so it can slide into the shelf and be centered on the angled joints. So i set it to 30 and cut and flipped the board over and cut again and i got my arrow end. Anyhow, checked my throatplate and noticed that the blade had either flexed or leaned toward the throat plate because i saw teeth marks on the edge of the lip opening. I never pressed on the blade in that directions, always in the cutting direction only and all my cuts were still clean. So not sure if its because its a thin kerf, that makes it flexible in that way. Anyhow, plan on eventually doing a zero clearance throat plate as well. UPDATE: I mustve gotten a defective blade. After cleaning my blade, i noticed there were some issues with 2 teeth. Some chipping or tearing on the metal teeth (see photos). Anyway, i thought ok, no big deal. Today I crosscut a 1x4, literally 3.5" of material. The saw jammed up the piece of wood and ruined one end. This was uncharacteristic of this blade, so i took a closer look...more than 6 teeth now had damage or defects. I am returning and waiting for a replacement. Hoping it was just a fluke. ... show more

  • Great sawblade for my table saw
Size: One Size Style: 10-Inch 60 Tooth ATB Thin Kerf Crosscutt... Pattern Name: Solid
Love this blade they’re not cheap but they work really good. I do segmented wood, and I wanted something that didn’t cut very much off my sticks when I make my segments. The picture I supplied is after I used the blade to cut the segment. very smooth to finish after I cut.

  • Always a clean cut
Size: One Size Style: 10-Inch 60 Tooth ATB Thin Kerf Crosscutt... Pattern Name: Solid
Great crosscut blade. Been using it for several months and it slices through hardwood like butter. Thin kerf reduces waste.

  • High quality and thin kerf.
Size: One Size Style: 10-Inch 60 Tooth ATB Thin Kerf Crosscutt... Pattern Name: Solid
My go-to blade and I rarely switch it out for a ripping blade (but when I do, it's also a Freud blade). My Unisaw has plenty of power, but I prefer a thin kerf blade. It's my primary blade.

  • Freud blades
Size: One Size Style: 10-Inch 60 Tooth ATB Thin Kerf Crosscutt... Pattern Name: Solid
Cuts smooth on hardwood plywood on radial arm saw. Freud makes good blades at a reasonable price. Coating helps prevent buildup on saw blade.

  • Amazingly tough, cuts even the hardest woods on a Ryobi table saw
Size: One Size Style: 10-Inch 60 Tooth ATB Thin Kerf Crosscutt... Pattern Name: Solid
I am replacing stair treads with 5/4" by 12" solid Ipe (Brazilian Walnut). Ipe has a Janka hardness of 3,510 lbf (15,620 N). For comparison, Red Oak is about a third as hard 1,220 lbf (5,430 N). Ipe wood is tougher than nails, literally. It sinks in water, weighs a ton, but looks beautiful and can hold up to the heaviest foot traffic. And I needed a table saw blade to cross cut the boards to length. I have to serviceable Ryobi table saw with a 1.5HP motor. Even on a pretty tame saw this blade gave me clean, smooth cuts every time with little resistance. It has greatly exceeded my expectations for holding an edge against such a tough hardwood. I see no slowing of the blade, no burns on the edges, and no chip out as long as I put a little painters tape over my cuts. Summary: I can't recommend this blade enough. It's tougher than tough, razor sharp out of the package, dead on, cuts buttery smooth, and has held up to one of the toughest woods I have ever worked with. ... show more

  • Used to cut plywood
Size: One Size Style: 10-Inch 60 Tooth ATB Thin Kerf Crosscutt... Pattern Name: Solid
After reading all of the reviews I purchased this blade in June for my table saw. I have now cut about 25 sheets of birch plywood with this blade. I was having problems with the outside layers cracking and coming off with my other blades. This blade has a smooth buttery cut and I have not had one problem with the veneer layers coming off. Not only that when I’m running it through my saw it glides smoothly. This is by far the best blade I have found and for a good price. I have since purchased one of these blades for all of my saws! ... show more

This blade delivered flawless cuts on mahogany plywood. No chipping or tear out and the cut edges were smooth with no saw marks.
