Got this for my Sawstop table saw. I makes beautiful clean cuts with negligible tear out. Have not had it a long time, so I can't comment on longevity yet.

    • Blade much better than described, this is a Hi-ATB blade.
This blade is better than it is described, because the blade has actually Hi-ATB teeth and not just ATB. Therefore it crosscuts much nicer than blades with ATB teeth. Freud also makes this Cabinetmaker's Crosscut blade with Silver-Ice coating instead of this PermaShield coating. But watch out, the one with the Silver-Ice coating is not an Hi-ATB blade like this one. (I wish it was, because I think the Silver-Ice is even more durable than PermaShield.) This blade is also excellent for hardwood veneered plywood. You will have zero tear out and don't ever need to tape your cut. (Assuming off course, you use a good saw and adjust the blade according to Freuds instructions) ... show more

    • Slow cut some tear out
If you don't mind a really slow cutting blade it's not bad, not great either. I was going to send it back but 30 days went by fast. I cut a lot of pre finished Maple Plywood and was hoping for a clean cut. It wasn't as clean as I hoped for. and I was pushing slow and smooth

Freud makes great blades. No tear out in soft, hard or veneered plywoods. Even no tear out in 1/4" oak ply.
