I like these pants. The fabric is nice and thick and sturdy, and resists wrinkles. I can tell they will last a long time, and this is going to be my new go-to brand. My only small complaint is that the waist is awfully wide. My kiddo isn't super skinny, but I had to cinch up the buttonhole elastic in the waist so much that the pants look pretty ploofy now. I will see if I can find a slimmer fit in the same brand next time.

These pants are enormous. I got them for my daughter to wear for her school uniform when she didn't want to wear her dress. She normally wears a 6, sometimes even a 6x. I ordered the 6 and these are huge. They were so big that I wondered if I even received the correct pants, but I looked and sure enough the tag says 6. I am going to keep them for her to grow into, because they otherwise seem like very nice, sturdy pants. But I would definitely size down!

Even after several washes the pants are pretty stiff which is good if you want to keep the middle crease line, but bad on comfortable wear. My 1st grader wears these every day as part of his uniform and every day he comes home with grass stains! Even after stain treatment they do not wash out!

I decided to write a review because I have bought several of these pants for my 11 year old who is in a size 14 but he is a little husky. Buying a size 14 provides the perfect length, but not enough hip room. So I returned them and bought him a size 14 husky. Again the length is perfect, and the waist provides plenty of room to grow outward should he need that space. However their is not enough fabric dedicated to the hip area and although the fit him now, it does not come without my concern for not being able to have long term use out of them. I tried to buy a size up (16), but they were way too long. In summation, if you need some good quality pants for your child short term, then these are great, but if your child is like mine and a little husky and you were hoping he could have them for a while, the sizes coupled with the lack of hip fabric will spoil your plans. I couldn’t be more thrilled with these pants. We’ve had French toast brand pants in the past as a part of my sons uniform and have been very pleased. The pants held up well especially given that they’re warn all throughout the week! And I was having a hard time finding him a new pair of pants that fit him well and these fit his build perfectly!!
