The filters do not fit properly. The filter does not allow full range of movement of the camera when on the ground. The drone frame contacts the outside edge of the filter as installed on the camera. Attempted to install different filters in the pack but none align to allow complete range of function. In conversations with the Freewell, they indicate this is not a problem in flight however, when on the ground or using the camera manually in flight contact could occur that puts strain on the apparatus rotating the camera up and down. Freewell has indicated that they are working on a solution to this problem. DJI has a very tight tolerance between the frame and the camera that makes the design difficult. I have multiple filters from Freewell and have always been satisfied with them. Quality is good. ... show more

Full disclosure, I have used Freewell filters since they first entered the market. Back then, there were very few high quality options and, in my opinion, Freewell just did everything better. What was true then, remains true now. I have found that the Freewell filters offer little or no color change and there is no distortion of the image when used on the DJI FPV drone camera. Having a quality set of ND filters is absolutely necessary to capture footage properly and get the best performance out of the small sensor used in the FPV drone. These filters fit very snuggly on the camera so take care when installing and removing them. Make sure that the filter is pushed all the way on before flight or you will risk losing it. Freewell ships their filters a in a plastic case which you should keep and use for transporting them with your other gear. The lens cloth included is an excellent touch and will help you keep both your camera lens and your filters clean! ... show more

As much as I wanted this to work, it caused the gimbal to stop working. I expected it to limit the movement, but it actually stalled the gimbal motor. At times the drone could not lift the camera.

    • These Filters will give you Gimbal errors - extremely dangerous mid flight

The filters fit fine on the camera, however they do not allow the gimbal to reach its entire range. When panning upwards or downwards past a certain range, the filters hit the drone, which have resulted in the gimbal falling downwards (most likely the gimbal is turning off because it senses strain on the camera). During flight, the camera will drop, or will not respond properly. Its extremely dangerous to fly with these filters, I nearly crashed on my first flight with them. After contacting the manufacturer, I was basically brick-walled - They claim there has been no error with their "testing." After a few back and forth emails I'm sure they are unwilling to recognize the issue or give me a refund. There aren't many options for NDs on the DJI FPV, but I assure you, this is the worst option. I have tried a few different sets on my FPV, and have had slight issues with the others, but the Frewell ones are just dangerous. DO NOT buy these filters. The answers they are giving to the gimbal error questions is a lie, and you won't get your money back unless its from Amazon. ... show more

I just bought these ND filters and couldnt be any happier! The fit could be a tad a little tighter on the the DJI FPV Drone but the cinemactic footage you get with these ND FIlters are SUPERB! Customer Service is great and responsive! Overall I am very happy with my purchase!
