This tank came well packaged to protect the glass. This one comes with a canopy that is like the roof of a house which is good looking. It also has several details like windowless and open chimney at the back you can use to drop food. Also it comes with blue died sand and gravel stones. I had to wash the sand several times since it will release the die. Whether this is good for life not sure but it was strong and takes several washes. It also comes with the plastic coral, a mermaid, boat and a tube figures. The coral has some sharp edges. It comes with a sponge and bio agent filter compartment and the pump system that sits just under the canopy and is nicely hidden inside it. The water flow is not adjustable and the flow is a little heavy for such a small tank. And also has a LED light that can be turned on with the switch on top of the roof which is elegant. Also the cables for both the filter and light could be routed through the back and has guides on the tank for them. Those little details are welcome. The filter sponge size is specific for this tank and not sure it will be easy to replace if need be. One has to cut their own. This is only a 2 gallon tank which will make a good shrimp tank may be. But everything is included to get it going. A very nice tank if looking for this size.

I grew up with aquariums. I always had one. This is actually the first time in my life I haven't had one. Now my daughter has the bug. This is an excellent first option. Large enough for one or two fish. But not too large glfor a blchilds bedroom on the dresser next to toys. It's perfectly fitting for a child unlike the others we looked at that looked more for adults or office spaces. If you could get them to stay where you put them a Lego would feel at home here. The price is comparable to those other tanks which on average cost more though they did have options a six year old doesn't care about or need. Now, the tank, great little tank, everything fits and works well except for... the pump. Don't misunderstand me. It works, too well, the thing is like a little jet engine for the water with something to prove. We initially got this tank with a Beta in mind but when we put the little fella in the it just blew him all over the tank ( even after the easy fix which I'll tell you how to do) the current was just too strong for him. Perfect for a gold fish, not a Beta. The problem is the little aerator, it diverts part of the water flow to add bubbles but it's just too much. So all I did was take a pair of scissors, cut a small corner of the padding like filter media off and tucked it in aerator with a toothpick extensively blocking it up and diverting all the water flow through the water fall feature. Took two minutes, cost nothing and worked like a charm. Still a little too much current for a Beta so we got him another tank and bought Goldie. This is a really cute and easy to use first tank for a child, easy to feed through the chimney, easy to operate the light. Easy to set up. Only a very small issue with an easy fix. It's been up and running strong for a couple of weeks now .

As a seasoned fish owner of every breed, fresh and saltwater, I was thoroughly impressed with FREESEA's 2 gallon betta tank that encompasses the following features that are a necessity for your betta: - There is everything you need to start a habitable tank for your new aquatic friend (decor, filter, etc.) without needing to purchase additional accessories. - Current pricing is comparable to pet stores but know this is a "basic" tank, with additional devices needed for more complex fish who require specific environments. - Before all else, know the pump's engine is extremely strong and modifications need to be made to suit a betta. Great for beginners who are wanting to venture into owning sea-dwelling friends! With minor issues that may be noticeable by professional, it is a solid product.

Very fun looking tank but also very functional. The hood hides the filter and light that sit on top of the tank also the trim is blue to match the hood. It also comes with substrate and decorations all you need is fish, food, and a net then you'll be good to go. Only thing I don't like is the placement of the chimney because its on the same side as the opening for the cords which should be the back. I like to feed the fish from the front of the tank.

There is a lot to learn with this hobby. I have learned that lack of knowledge causes fish casualties. This set up is a start. Substrate is provided, air pump could be improved, heater might be needed. Personal opinion, this set up is ideal for a hospital or new fish tank.

The media could not be loaded. Ordered this little take and we are so happy we did! I've only ever done fish bowls in the past and they are so annoying to clean! This tank has its own filter which makes cleaning so much easier (and less frequent). We put a male and female guppy in it and they love it! The chimney opening is perfect for dropping food down in it and the small push-down button on the top conveniently controls the light on the top. We love this and we love watching the fish. We even added a few shrimp today to help keep it clean...fun addition! :D

This tank is super cute. I didn't use the decorations that were included. The rocks are just enough to cover the bottom glass of the tank, but not any more. They also had to be cleaned SIGNIFICANTLY due to the amount of dye/paint coming off of them. I ran my tank for a few days prior to putting my fish it to ensure it was clear. The filter is REALLY strong. It is nice as the tank is very clean, but the power does push my fish pretty hard. The filter on top is not a standard shape, so if you ever have to replace it, you will need to cut one yourself, which isn't a big deal and it did come with filter medium, which was really nice as a lot of filter's done. I do wish that the lid locked onto the tank versus easily lifting off (i have little hands in my house), but overall it is very cute and I like it!
