I'm in a little disbelief about the way this product works for me, but it seems to. I have used it before a 5-mile hike on an 85ºF humid day and I was sweaty, but no significant odor. I didn't believe this, so I've been using it on other hikes and on 90º+ weather days and one day I noticed a slight odor at the end of the day, but it had been over 10 hours of wearing it on a hot summer day so I'll give it a pass. When I say slight odor, I mean very little, I've used all types of deodorants and antiperspirants and many of them give out a strong deodorant or deodorant/sweat chemistry blend smell when you sweat but not this one. It doesn't smell like anything, I bought the unscented. I'm sensitive to fragrances so I didn't want to try a different one. I have been using the La Roche-posay Physiological Deodorant Stick https://amzn.com/B003TRW5DG for about 2 years but it does leave that deodorant smell when you sweat heavily, as with hiking, albeit, not as bad as some other deodorants. I would highly recommend this one as it's not an antiperspirant, but there's no odor so no biggie. Now, if you don't want to or just can't show sweat through your clothes on specific occasions, I would NOT recommend this product. I will update this if I have a change of opinion on this product later on, I've only been using it for a little over a week. Update: It's been over a month since I've been using this product. It is continuing to work. I notice that you must apply it well, though, you cant skimp on it or you will have some odor, you must cover the area well. I've also felt that the plastic rim that touches the skin is a little rough around the edges. It's kind of jagged, and it only happens if you haven't exposed the product out far enough. I don't know if it's just mine or if they're all like this but this should be improved.

I wanted to love it so bad. The smell is horrible. Also, I'm not sure what exactly in it did it, but my armpits broke out soooo bad. As as a teen, I experimented with many deodorants trying to find the perfect one. I tried maybe 15. In the end, I always ended up breaking out horribly. I finally found one that did not break me out. I have been using it for the past 15 years or so. Recently I decided to try a more all natural deodorant because I didn't want a deodorant with aluminum. After using for 3 days my armpits became irritated. I finally stopped using it because of it. Now, a week after I stopped using it, my arm pits are still broken out horribly. They itch like crazy, there are tons of bumps, my armpit is swollen. This is obviously not the case for everyone, hence the almost 5 stars the products has, but as for me, I want nothing to do with it. This could honestly just be an isolated case for me. But I will never go near it again.

Loved the ingredients....which are coconut oil, Shea butter, arrowroot flour, baking soda, beeswax, and Kaolin clay. However, this deoderant "stick" is very sticky and pasty and is only a stick because the paste is forced to protrude upright into a medium oval shape. I even tried putting it into my refridgerator, thinking it might need to just be kept cool to stay solid.....nope, still sticky paste when applied....ick. They really shouldn't advertise this as a stick deodorant, more like a stick type application device for the deoderant as the smooth, rounded sides of the applicator help to spread the sticky paste. Its impossible to just get a very thin application of this thick paste, but its easier to attempt it straight out of the refrigerator. It IS unscented, as advertised. It is also made in the USA! This was way too expensive, but I was so hoping it would turn out firmer like a stick deoderant I used to purchase on Amazon. I used to buy an organic one with very similar ingredients, until they changed the formula, that was exactly like commercial stick deoderant you bought at the store for firmness and texture. For anyone looking for an actual stick deoderant, I would not recommend this. If you don't mind thick sticky paste....then it might be for you... Update 8/13/17 After contacting their customer service about the unsatisfactory product, I agreed to review their NEW formula deoderant. Its ingredients are: arrowroot powder, partially hydrogenated coconut oil, organic coconut oil, baking soda, Kaolin clay, beeswax, & shea butter. I must say...after several disappointments....including its former formula, THIS IS GREAT! It goes on like a regular stick, NOT sticky...FINALLY! I have very sensitive skin. I can put this on right after shaving without problem. The new formula is still unscented....and it works. It seems to last all day.

It works better than other natural products, and actually better than the chemical deodorants. I use the sensitive skin type because the others irritate my skin. A little does go a long way... More doesn’t seem to be better and it will get on/in your clothing if you use too much. My one complaint is you don’t get your money’s worth. It appears to be a standard sized stick of deodorant but upon closer look it is significantly smaller because the inside of the stick is made to be narrow so it holds less product. At the price they charge, the stick should be a standard size, not made to trick you into thinking it is when it isn’t. When they first started selling the deodorant, they didn’t do this. The stick was actually a full, standard size and it lasted much longer. Anyway, effective and great product, but expensive and they make it appear as if you’re getting more than is actually there.
