Ammend review on 8/3 Seller reached out to me via email and sent the correct size gloves. Also changed the star rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. The helmet is great. The only thing is lowering the volume in radio mode doesn't work. Which is fine for me as I just won't use the radio. Just stick with radio apps like Pandora, Spotify, and Amazon Music instead. Also upped the star rating because the seller reached out to fix the glove sizing on their own. Tried to reach them through Amazon myself and that did not work, but the seller contacted me. First review: The Bluetooth comes with many features. The built-in headphones and mic are nice. However a few things to keep in mind. 1. In radio mode, the volume is messed up. You cannot turn the volume down. The instructions say to turn the toggle twice... yah that doesn't work. You have to blow out your ear drums before the volume will go down. Meaning, have to turn it to max before you can get it to lower. Junk UI. Don't use the radio functions at all. My advice, use a radio app on your phone. 2. Probably the biggest reason this only gets 2 stars. The gloves it came with do NOT fit. Says to size your head and separately size you gloves. However there is no option for glove size during your order. The size helmet is the size gloves. Well that is NOT the case. I needed a medium helmet, but large gloves (probably extra large gloves the way these fit). So if you buy this product just know. 1. The radio UI is bad. 2. I do wish they could make the smallest size a bit smaller but…. My girl has a medium and I have XL. We love it. She rides behind me and now we can talk to each other.     • Customer service makes it work
The few shops within an hour of where I live had very limited helmet stock, and none fit, so I was forced to go online to purchase a helmet. Not good, when fit is so very important. This helmet is overpriced for what it is, but the willingness of the seller to send different liners to help get the fit just right made the difference. It arrived pretty quickly, and after trying it on I contacted the seller to say I needed more padding in the crown of the helmet and less in the sides. They quickly sent me two different sized liners that allowed me to customize the fit. The gloves and goggles that were included with the helmet are alright; the gloves are protective and have lots of vents for hot weather riding, and while they fit on the hands, the wrist closure is too tight and I have to leave it open. Not a big deal. I don't wear goggles for riding, but they'll get use this winter for running the snowblower and I needed a new pair for that, so that worked out. The on board speaker/mic system isn't fantastic, but it was easy to connect it with my phone and it's adequate. I didn't like the giant FreedConn logo on the back of the helmet, but I covered it with a strip of reflective tape. I also really hate the "speed closure" thing on the chin strap, it never lines up just right without fussing with it and it's awkward to find the little ribbon to open it. I'd much prefer the old D ring style. Pros: Quick seller response and additional liners for proper fit. Drop down sun visor. Faceshield is clear and doesn't cause blurriness. Using both the sun visor and the faceshield at the same time, vision is still clear without optical distortions. Pairs to phone easily. Speakers adequate for a bit of background music. Callers can hear what I'm saying even when going down the road at 55. (I haven't attempted to make any calls when riding, so not sure how smooth that process is.) Not too heavy, I don't feel neck strain even after a longer ride. A usable, comfortable helmet that arrived quickly when I couldn't buy anything locally. Cons: Only DOT rated, which is rather meaningless. Not sure how the helmet will perform if I should happen to have an accident. Drop down sun visor isn't dark enough, I'm going to have to add some window tint to it or something. Speakers are tinny and won't satisfy someone who is in to really zoning out to detailed music while riding. Very annoying connection on chin strap. Phone connection doesn't give you an option for refusing calls. So unless I pull over, dig the phone out my pocket, and look to see who is calling, I'm at the mercy of any fool telemarketer bugging me during my ride. Overall, a comfortable, usable helmet that got me through my first season of riding again after 30 years. Paid too much, but saved me from trying to drive two hours to a bigger city in the hopes of finding a helmet at a shop somewhere. So probably made up for it in gas money. 4 stars. ... show more

The speakers are clear, Bluetooth and phone is easy to use. Mt x-lg fit tight on my jaws and the glove ok fingers was tight. The visors are clear and easy to use. I was sent new helmet inserts and larger gloves within a few days. I'm happy!
