The package arrived on time as promised. Unfortunately, the telescope arrived damaged. It was highly disappointing as it was purchased for our child Christmas present. We did not open the box to start assembling it until 3 am Christmas morning. To say the least it dampened Christmas morning. I just submitted an exchange request. The tripod was broken in the same way as the previous customer documented with her video. The package was box in a longer box so maybe the tripod was damaged in transit as it was allowed to shift around it quite a bit. Will upload photos later. Edit: The replacement arrived sooner than expected. Assembly was quick and easy. My only question is how does the remote for the camera work. This was bought for a four-year-old who loves the stars. It serves it purpose. I would buy again.

I ordered and returned due to defective part. It was replaced right away however the same part by handle is defective on second shipment. I think this needs a quality control check or an updated part to prevent concerns. Thanks
