Bought specifically for skiing and overall perfect but would've been better if bottom cuffs were zippered to expand over a ski boot. They did not so nice fitted fit and look can't fit over a ski boot. It was not a problem for me and won't for you if not skiing in deep powder. But it was advertised for skiing. Uh not exactly. Nice colors to choose from. Definitely water proof. I look forward to using them for storm wear and cool weather hiking as well. They are nice and sturdy with that high tech pants feel. Very happy with quality, used today for a few hours of biking in 30F weather I was very comfortable . They seem true to size and felt right. I like the zipper pockets to make sure nothing falls out.

Pants are great, fit well. Stitching line above the knee can rub against you and you can feel it. Nothing horrible though I usually forgot about it pretty fast. Wore these for plowing multiple storms this year and they worked perfect for that. Much quieter and less bulky than real snow pants.
