I love that the product came with 6 footballs in one order for the price. As far as the footballs go themselves. They are pretty decent footballs with some good rubber grip. These footballs give you the best performance in dry, spring like weather. When wet, whether that is from sweat or rain, the footballs have little to no grip. These footballs are sized for teenagers, so the size is too big for pee-wee youth, but aren’t as big as high school regulation footballs. I bought my son a throwing net for him to practice throwing with. After buying it, it struck me that it would suck to have a ball or two- throw them, walk over to the net, grab them, walk back and throw again. The whole purpose of a throwing net is that my son can spend time throwing by himself. So, I decided to look for balls and was hoping to find something that was not too expensive. I eventually came across these on Amazon. At the time, the blue balls were priced at $5.99 where as the other colors were around $12-13 or so. Not really caring about the color, I bought several of them. Once we got them and used them, I went back and bought more for a total of 10 balls. The balls are rubber so there is a little bit of a difference in feel than you will have with a leather ball but there is not that much of a difference that you can not use these for practice. There is nothing about them other than not being leather that would be a downside but when looking for a cheap option to get many balls, you can't have everything. My boys enjoy them and in fact, I took them to football practice and the other coaches were impressed enough that when they found out how much I paid, they went directly on to Amazon and bought some for themselves. I see the price has gone up since I bought them but I would say that the value is still there even at a higher price. For the price I got them at, I don't think I have ever got a better deal out of Amazon. - - - Update- we have got a ton of use out of these balls. They have held up well and continue to be a good purchase. I certainly would purchase them at a higher price point than what I originally got them for which was a steal. ... show more
