It doesn't have bad grip but I still got some grip was enough to play football or you can use Clorox wipes to get better grip but overall he's a good football gloves the air flow is good to it's nice to use with footballs it's the best ones I got it didn't it didn't break I say if you were looking for like maybe one or two seasons get these and it's nice around the fingers it's not too tight ... show more

I bought these for my 7 y/o son's first year of football. They had mixed reviews and durability seemed to be the common theme among the poor reviews. However, I took a gamble because they were the least expensive gloves. My son likes them. They fit him well and says they are comfortable. They also lasted 2 months before the pattern part of the sticky palm peeled off of 1 finger of the glove. (We had 3 practices and 1 game per week. I washed the gloves on the delicate cycle and hung to dry 2 times a week.) Even though the finger peeled off, they are still sticky and they still work. I guess I could see bigger kids or adults being harder on the gloves than my 55 lbs. kid. Maybe that has something to do with it? If you want high quality, then buy a pair of the "name brand" gloves. As with most things, you get what you pay for. Maybe we just got lucky? Overall, we got our money's worth out of these gloves. ... show more

The gloves are alright I guess. The tip of the fingers are kind of washed out? They’re supposed to have this leathery material but it’s cracked and washed out. I guess you get what you pay for, but it would’ve been nice to have the product a bit well made. If you just want gloves for a temporary season or what not I’d say get em. But if you want something for the long run, definitely get better quality ones. I’m playing Flag Football so I won’t be needing them for a long time, so I think I’ll be alright with these. The fit is good, I got small hands so they’re just right. As for the grip, it’s not too bad. 7.5/10 satisfied. ... show more
