I saw one of my favorite cooks using this the other day and thought I’d give it a try. I’m pretty picky when it comes to olive oil as there are so many that are either not true or way to spicy in flavor. My go-to has always been Frantoia but that has now changed! Frankie’s 457 has the most beautiful flavor. Fresh, fruity with the slightest spice in the finish. This is a wonderful product that I would like to use constantly. HOWEVER the cans come dented and lack bubble wrap to protect the cans. So many customers report the same thing!! Is anybody from shipping paying attention?

This is the very 1st time I've bought olive oil in a can. I prefer glass, but I wanted to try this USDA CERTIFIED ORGANIC EVOO. The olives are organically grown in Sicily. They are of the highest quality. The flavor is bright & fruity, grassy & peppery. I did some research. I wanted to know if it's safe to consume olive oil that comes in a steel can. I learned that steel IS safe & non-reactive. Avoid iron & copper. They are reactive & unsafe. As many other reviewers have mentioned, it did arrive dented & banged up, even though it was packaged in bubble wrap. If I repurchase, I'll buy it at Whole Foods. ... show more

I go through so much olive oil and I think this is one of the best at any price, and there are some very expensive olive oils out there! As far as I know they exclusively use olives grown in Sicily. If I’m wrong about that set me straight.
