I bought this for my 2011 Acura MDX SUV. I have been buying Fram products such as their air and oil filters for over ten years. Fram's air filter quality is top of the line. The Acura part is over $40 plus most dealer with charge some type of labor fee. Switching you own air filter is so easy. It should only take you a few minutes and requires almost zero automotive repair knowledge. Fram's extra guard model filters will last up to 12,000 miles. I usually change mine between 8,000-10,000 miles. A clean air filter helps to keep damaging particles from entering your engine and causing increased engine wear Dirty air filters restrict airflow which can contribute to decreased acceleration, horsepower, and reduced overall performance Experts at FRAM engineering laboratories recommend changing every 12,000 miles! **How to change your air filter** 1.
