Seems to work, gets dirty with use. Can I give you a graph of particulate size that this filter removes and passes? No. That is really how filter quality gets measured so we really have no idea how good this filter is.

I selected this engine filter because it was made in the USA. It fit just as it should and appeared to be manufactured well, even has a bright orange somewhat pliable frame. I am not sure the filter I received was an authentic FRAM air filter. When I received my first filter it did not match the pic in the item description, or the pic on the box it came in. The pic shows an orange gasket/housing with metal mesh on the top. The one I received has a black gasket/housing with no metal mesh, as well as looking like it had about half as many fins on the filter as the pic shows. So I was a little suspicious and decided to call FRAM customer service. I spoke to Lynnette (believe that was the correct name, it's been a week or so ago) and described the filter I received to her. She said that possibly the color could be different, but the metal mesh should be on there, and it should definitely have FRAM printed on the filter. The one I received only had the part number followed by another set of numbers and "product of USA" on it. After speaking with her, I contacted Amazon, who were great, and shipped me another filter out next-day shipping on their dime. This one was exactly the same. Got a hold of Amazon phone support who put the item under review for investigation. Shipping this one back too, and just going to buy one locally that I can see first. Only posting this as a warning...as I was very surprised to receive a possible "fake" from something listed as "By FRAM" and "fulfilled by Amazon". Maybe this is just a fluke.
